    Same here. I wasn't able to slot new reputation projects then couldn't access account bank. I decided to try changing characters and that was the end of that. Retrieving characters hangs then back to login.

    Never fails when my wife is away and I can play all day something interferes. I guess it's good it's the game this time and not like the office or my AC or a broken commode or something.

    clicked leave map, just sat there with the server not responding for a 200 secs eventually manually closed the game restarted it. Now im stuck at Retrieving list of characters, and even that eventually fails being a pc tech i checked my net connection just incase and its running fine at 63Mbps down and 3Mbps upload so i`s definitely server side

    Same thing here, and there are another 3 threads about this issue already. Are the DEVS out there somewhere to let us know what has happened? .... The world will never know :P

    Maybe they could just have based it on the Celestial Temple and called it "Prophet Rising"? or Profit? whatever.

    I too am suffering this current epidemic.

    I was able to log-in about three hours ago.

    I began suffering some lag so I wanted to try logging-out & back-in.

    Now every since I get the "Retrieving Characters List" while attempting to log-in until I unceremoniously get timed-out.

    I even tried Force Verifying to no avail.

    I hope they at least acknowledge this problem, if they have not already, & get us back playing as soon as possible.

    Good luck & good hunting to us all.



    There is also another thread addressing this current issue under general STO gameplay. Hopefully they will notice & respond as soon as possible otherwise let the Livestream hear the screams LOL.

    I am having the same problem. It would be nice if the Dev's were paying attention and let us know what is going on.

    I don't give a **** what the reason is for this latest issue. It's always the same story with every launch. They are never ready & don't seem to factor in the additional load created on the servers.
    It just seems like they never learn from the past launch experiences & take steps to increase server capacity ahead of time. Thus the current issues.

    I think you're all lying and the servers are fine... not really as I can't log in either lol.


    I've ding'd who I can to see if I can't get any ETA's etc and will keep this post updated. Sticking it for now.

    Had 1 account that couldn't log in - but now my other account that was logged in just got dumped.

    3 patches in 2 days and people wonder why the servers are a mess.

    Isn't the Livestream on Tribble? Didn't someone say Tribble's still up?

    Maybe it wasn't the weeken guy TRIPPING over the plug, maybe Smirk pulled it to up his viewership...
