An Odyssey MSD, pretty please?

I was kind of wondering...hoping really...that an MSD for the Oddy might be somewhere down the pipe, like how you did with Voyager.

The reason I hope so is because I love the ship, but it's such a mystery when it comes to the inside. The canon ships have had books and such describing the interiors and showcasing schematics. Needless to say, being a new orignal design the Odyssey has no such blue prints. I have no idea at all where anything is in the ship save the bridge. I would love to know what the layout is!

Thanks for making what I consider to be a great game!

P.S. at least tell me the function of the room at the bottom of the stairs.

    Bit at the bottom of the bridge is the CNC I believe. In game it doesn't serve any purpose other than show n tell :)

    I believe that the old Anniversary/Fleet store Odyssey bridge, which is different from the C-Store one, as a MSD as well.

    All I want is for Cryptic to eventually make a Tier 6 Fleet Oddy so I can tell them to just shut up and take my money...and possibly first born :P

    i always thought the room down stairs was the briefing room or observation lounge like on the enterprise-D

    On my ship, it's multipurpose. Normally, it's filled with specialized science stations for exploration missions. When needed, it becomes a tactical deck to coordinate fleet movements. :)



    As for an MSD...I wouldn't count on it. Tacofangs was pretty honest that they almost didn't do one for Voyager, and it's a pretty time-consuming task.

    I guess we can make that little lower room be whatever we want in our heads :). I always see my Tac officer and a Science officer so for me I guess it would be combat direction and also part Asttometrics since we don't have a room like that there.

    There are fan made MSDs for the Odyssey out there. GreenDragoon is working on one now.

    But I don't expect we'll be making an official MSD for it anytime soon. They are a tremendous amount of work. If we had some important episodes surrounding the Odyssey, maybe. But keep in mind, the Odyssey already has a bridge, without an MSD. Voyager's bridge had an MSD per canon, and wouldn't have looked right without it.

    Latinum is useful for fun cosmetic stuff...now if only it didn't take so long to grind it out -_- (Up the betting max to 100,000 EC please!)
