    I am on Tribble right now checking my items for upgradeability, here's a few items I could not upgrade that I thought I should be able to:

    Common items:
    1. Console - Science - Power Insulator Mk XI

    Uncommon items:
    1. Console - Engineering - Neutronium Alloy Mk IX
    2. Console - Science - Graviton Generator Mk XII
    3. Console - Science - Particle Generator Mk XI

    Rare items:
    1. Console - Science - Inertial Dampeners Mk XI
    2. Breen Transphasic Cluster Torpedo (Rapid Reload is fine)
    3. Chroniton Flux Torpedo Launcher Mk XI
    4. Federation Type 3 Phaser Rifle Mk X (also noticed this item has an extra space in its name!)
    5. Klingon Intelligence Stealth Utility Armor Mk VI [HP] [RegHP]
    6. Numiri Regenerative Shield Array Mk IV and Mk XI (Paratrinic, on the other hand, does work)
    7. Personal Energy Harness Shield Mk IV and Mk XI (all I have)
    8. Plasma-Disruptor Hybrid Dual Heavy Cannons Mk IV
    9. Romulan Disruptor Split Beam Rifle Mk VIII
    10. Synchronic Proton Distortion Prototype Assault Rifle
    11. Tractor Beam Mine Launcher

    Very Rare items:
    1. Console - Science - Countermeasure System Mk XI
    2. Adaptive Transphasic Torpedo Mk XII [Dmg]x3 [Borg]
    3. Borg Prosthetic - Medical Drone Mk X [DoT3]x2 (this item is lacking a Mark icon)
    4. Borg Prosthetic - Medical Drone Mk XI [DoT3]x2
    5. Borg Prosthetic - Medical Drone Mk XII [DoT3]x2 (I guess it affects all prosthetics)
    6. Obelisk Subspace Rift War Core
    7. Thoron Infused Polaron weapons (from the Delta Alliance reputation boxes; shouldn't it be "Thoron-infused"?)
    8. Solanae Enforced Environmental Suit

    Other items, though upgradeability is questionable
    1. Kit frames and Kit modules; I assume this will be in a future crafting school. I also checked the old kits for good measure, and they also cannot be upgraded (you really need to get rid of that console on Ganalda :D)
    2. Personal Shield Standard Issue
    3. Disruptor Bolt Dual Pistol - Compression Bolt Standard Issue (item has a Mk II icon)
    4. Disruptor Bolt Dual Pistol - Sweep Standard Issue (item has a Mk II icon)
    5. Shuttle equipment (intended?)
    6. Shard Sword of Kahless [CrtH][CrtD][Dmg]x2 (this item is already Epic, but its Mark should be upgradeable. Also, should there be spacing between its mods?)
    7. Console - Universal - Repair Platform

    Gonna re-transfer my character since this is an older copy of my holodeck toon, I'll edit the post if I find any more items. EDIT: Done. Phew, long post for my first ^^;

    Very happy to see that Split Beam Pistols, Repeater Pistols, Piercing Beam Rifles, Wide Beam Rifles, Long-Range Assault Miniguns and Charged Burst Assaults are upgradeable. Can you add those to the crafting system please? :D

    I have to say, I really like the fact that the XP Granter is a Devidan XD
    Was named Trek17.

    Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

    I haven't noticed that. Less than 1,000 dilithium and a handful of cheap crafting projects. In order to "upgrade" my XI rep gear to XII I've had to spend a HELL of a lot more in the past (and it wasn't tied to any sort of resource management/aquisition system. Just GRIND.)

    Thank you guys for putting an XP vendor! I was quite flustered with how little exp I was getting from missions! This helps immensely!

    Can't buy V Rare Xindi fighters from dil store, even though I own the ship and can't finish Mindscape, won't do anything after the final cutscene after you find Cooper in astrometrics.

    Is Delta Rising going to be like LOR with a last minute silver unlock or is it going to be unlocked in the next few days? I keep asking but don't get an answer.

    Currently not seeing any way to upgrade Fighters and Frigate pets. Are they staying at level 51 for fleet elites? Will make them all mostly useless.

    Some gear "unbinds" instead of upgrading. The TR-TRIBBLE rifle did this to me. I posted more details in bug thread.

    The Chance to upgrade rate, needs to be increased. I used all superior kits at level 14 to try and upgrade. 1st time got me 0% chance, 4% the 2nd time. That is a lot of dil and kits. Take the RNG out of this please and give us a flat 5 or 10% per upgrade overage.

    Also need the drop rate of the very rare R&D mats increased on the Dentarium, Argonite, Crylon boxes. I average 1 success in 15 runs for those but the Trelium and radogenic have about a 1 in 3 success rate. Really should be guaranteed at least 1 per run.

    Overall, very impress with the upgrade system, the dil sink to bring the economy back in line, and mostly the ability to use making the kits to help level crafting in a reasonable time limit and encourage the crafters to make them to help the rest of the population upgrade. Well done !

    Umm, while we're at it, can we change the rapid fire missile launcher so it can be mounted in an aft slot please?

    Not that shocked I burned thru 800k of my dilithium to upgrade half my stuff... I guess I won't be doing this

    that was confirmed on a stream a week ago.

    there will be no silver unlock at all, we won't get access to tribble until it's already released on holodeck, by which point there's really no reason to log in to tribble anymore since you can do all the bugtesting on holodeck.

    almost nobody will be using tribble by then, so features like stfs you can't use because no people and such won't be available there.
    Now clowns, that's another story. They scare the cr​ap out of me.
    We fight them too. Entire armies spilling out of Volkswagens.
    We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending them in.

    General:
    • For Tribble only, a XP Granter to help level up has been added.
      • Go to the Delta Quadrant Command Center in the Jenolan Sphere.
      • The contact will grant captains a 1 level boost per day.


    By "per day", that's 20 hours from the last time it was accessed, right? (as opposed to "per day" meaning either 24 hours from the last time it was accessed or meaning once the clock hits 12:00 AM) :)

    Hi, found another ground weapon which won't upgrade, the Federation Type 1 Phaser, which I might add is bound to account, and not to character :), means I can play the mission Past Imperfect on my FED, and put it into my account bank and use it on my KDF. hope it stays this way.

    Better Upgrade Techs offer better Dilithium efficiency.

    with answers like that.. why do you the others in the games then ???
    And how must we get them... let me guess, pay..

    I build a tier 5 sb (almost alone) and i even think r&d and upgrade is to much.
    I will leave for a couple months, after over 4 year playing every day, going to see that bright light in the sky behind the door, with those weird npc's walking around....

    Brainflaiks left the game at the perfect time, after he left the game went to hell...

    Its will cost them 15 minutes to make 1, they can make 5 at the same time, so i don't expect that the couple r&d'rs that are level 15 in a school will help the rest, they going to make millions of ec.
    Don't forget per item you need about 20 of them, thats 1 hour of crafting and the crafters also need tons of them for themself...
    The cost is so high, i feel being trolled by cryptic..

    This really needs to be corrected. I just updated my Vesta and lost the Focus Phaser. It's only Tribble but it says the console is on another ship with no way to retrieve it. Unequipping it makes it completely vanish.

    I also had this happen at the title says. I did not read anywhere if the ships should be stripped of gear before upgrade to them. However, on Tribble at least, I no longer have my V.A.T.A. weapon. It is in the interglatic bit & byte bucket. If this is a bug, I dont see it listed as known.

      • Resolved a number of typos.
      • Removed the snowman and duplicate bridge consoles.
      • Resolved and issue that was blocking completion of the “Dreamcatcher” accolade.
      • Resolved an issue that was causing 2 Coopers to appear in a cutscene.

    Nope...try again. Still two Coopers. Overall great patch though.

    What are the inputs needed to craft these?

    FYI, any player that logged in once a day since R&D came out just to kick off the daily will be at or a couple of days away from level 15 on DR launch day.

    It seems obvious as to what is causing the glitch. The upgraded ship is a new new ship, not an upgraded one. Because we don't have access to the old one, we can't receive these consoles from them and their upgrade transfer script or whatever it is is not moving these special consoles. My guess is it being a new ship was done as a way to easily make the upgrade stick across an account but I'm just guessing.

    Only know about Improved beam weapon tech upgrade (rar)
    5- tritanium, 3 verteron particles, 3 hexatluorine gas & 2 thoron particles.
    I guess, higher will use very rare samples

    Roger, will ask my fleet leader since he has Tribble access and crafting maxed on a couple of tacks.

    corrected An Issue That Prevented The Three T-5u Vestas From Having Their Console Slots Increased After Being Upgraded.

    T6 ships? Are they on Tribble? I haven't seen any yet.

    Nooooooo! I liked the snowman in Mindscape. I thought it was funny because Cooper was messing with my head and it made sense to have something so strange appear.

    Good thing I got a screenshot of it before it was removed. I am disappoint. :(

    Why remove the snowman when it was something we all liked? Why do you guys always take the fun stuff away from us? :( If it didn't belong there in the first place. Why was it put there then? I will also consider myself lucky I got a screenshot of that with my Rommie as well.

    During development, nay devs will use random placeholder objects for activator points to test it before they actually put the activator in the middle of a room invisibly.

    It makes the testing process easier as you can see where all the activators are instead of having to remember them all.

    Most games do it, few games let you test things however, so its not that well known to the common person.

    In that case. Can we have the snowman replace Seven's role in the mission? :D
