It isn't just the Dyson, the veteran ships and D'Kora have the same problem and the bug is far older than the anniversary ship. I am not sure if it is time what causes it, since I have become affected after spending just a few minutes transformed. Combat seems to be the main trigger for the bug but I never managed to isolate what is specifically causing it.
Clicking repeatedly on the transformation power could sometimes fix the problem but that ceased to work months ago for some reason. AFAIK the only way to solve it now is to change maps.
So, if you know there is already a knowledge about his, why you post this again... im just telling you this because the policies of the mods about this changed drastically in the last month.. probably they will just close or delete this post..

It occurs to me that more would probably get done if angry pitchfork-and-torch-bearing mobs actually DID show up at their door when things went unfixed. It's always a question of motivation.
In my experience, any ability that you toggle on and off (e.g. saucer separation, Tac mode in the Sci destroyers, even cruiser commands) will eventually appear to toggle off after a while in combat. The heavier the combat, the quicker this happens. However, the ability itself is not deactivated, only the trigger on the power tray. Reactivating the trigger will sometimes play the activation animation again (for ship transformations), play part of the animation again (such as releasing smoke for saucer separations, but not a visual of the ship separating) or just the sound effects, but will immediately return to the inactive state.
Sometimes, spamming the trigger quickly enough will allow you to deactivate the ability during the brief period that it is active, but this is not a reliable workaround, particularly for the abilities that trigger a cool down on activation. In the cases where this does succeed, normal operation of the abilities is returned (until it bugs out again)
In the case of cruiser commands, reactivating the trigger will deactivate the cruiser command (which is still visibly active in the buffs section, even though the weapon tray icon is no longer highlighted).
With my main character's Prometheus (both fleet and non-fleet MVAEs) I have actually noticed that the re-integration animation plays when the power tray trigger deactivates and my ship reassembles itself for a couple of seconds before the additional vectors vanish again. This appears to have no effect on how the ship actually behaves.
One of my alts has also noticed this with the Galaxy refit and retrofit saucers (vet token for the refit, fleet for the retrofit). I have often also noticed the deactivation sound effects playing at this point, though it's not always audible over heavy battles.

This actually sounds like it may be related to a bug I get on my Romulan while cloaking/decloaking too quickly. I end up stuck cloaked, but the button is unselected as if I am uncloaked.
Hitting the button again merely kicks off a 5-second cooldown, as if I had just recloaked, but no sound effect or visual effect plays, and since I'm already cloaked, nothing happens.
When said bug happens, I am stuck cloaked and unable to engage in any combat until/unless something damages me or other uncloaks me forcibly, such as a dialog popping up, a gravity well sitting around from some previous combat thingy, a mine hitting me, or something else.
I wrote it up once upon a time, but don't have the ticket number handy.

My Reman Fed Sci is having this problem on my Dyson Destroyer, (R'ahne@silverrain79). It's really annoying, my Fed Tac Romulan (R'ain@silverrain79) has the Ar'kif and it tends to get stuck in battlemode as well. One of my fleetmate's has the Vet ship, she's figured out a way to force it out of battlemode but I've yet to figure out anyway to do it on the Dyson or the Ar'Kif w/o dying/changing maps.

Just the other day I jumped back into my fleet chimera and had the same problem. Shortly after entering tactical mode I am not able to revert back even when red alert goes away. Its on my engie character Six@Byron_Winter

This happens on sensor analysis as well when used heavily on friendly targets, which is super annoying as it can get you stuck in a perm red alert with no way to shut it off other than distance.
Any news or movement on this issue? Just purchased the Dyson Surveillance variant and had this issue in my first battle after gearing the ship up. Very disappointing. Night Valkyrie@violentwhimsy.
