Fleet T6 = Fleet Oddy & Vesta?

I'm a bit surprised by the revelation of the Fleet T6 ships... not that they exist, but that they exist so soon.

That said, Fleet T6 ships are coming... anyone else think that the Vesta and Odyssey will get fleet versions?

    On one hand I'd certainly pick them both up. Love my Odyssey.

    On the other, that would mean Fleet Scimitar. The very thought of further buffing that ugly cudgel even further makes me cry a little on the inside.

    Hell, my rom tac flies one, and even I would find it over the top to need to buff that thing at this point

    Interesting to see what is going to be the extra console on it with T5-U, will I be able to stack yet another fleet vulnerability tac console to make things melt quicker?

    Yeah, nobody should get ahead of themselves.

    Nothing has been stated about current ships having a path to T6 at all (even the assurances about the bugship are starting to look thin), much less Fleet T6.

    I don't think they will, simply beacause they are practically fleet ship level already.
    Real Temporal Operative: Purchased the Special Temporal Agent pack before it was even officially announced!

    Not sure about the Vesta, but the Oddy (and the Bortas) should get proper T6 versions.

    Indeed, they ought to be the equivilant of fleet T6 really.

    True, but it sure does sound like we're not getting regular T6 versions of any current ship. Some think that the updated Intrepid will be T6, but I'm not so sure.

    That being said, I mentioned the Vesta and Oddy for a reason... there is no current fleet version of those ships. The Odyssey Star Cruiser is effectively dead (no upgrade path), and it makes sense to me to make fleet versions of those ships, in particular... full T6, with hybrid BOFF seats. These two classes just seem ripe for this new level.

    And, as for the Bug... we were promised "T6 capabilities," not "full T6." Bummed, but not shocked here.

    the scimitar gets +1 eng, falchion +1 tac and tulwar +1 sci

    odysseys, scimitars, bortasqs, vestas, kumaris and the dyson ships are already "fleet" level.

    The only thing they're missing are the fleet hull materials. It'd be nice if there were some way those ships could access them.

    There is no link since there are no t6 fleet ships yet. They only mentioned them in the blog about the intel ship stats.

    I've seen Odysseys and Borts with the fleet hull material (and yes, it was the fleet material). I just have no idea how they got it. Everyone I've asked said they logged in one day and it was just there.

    I personally believe that they bought the Odyssey Star Cruiser/basic Bort from a T5 shipyard and it unlocks the fleet material via a glitch/bug/exploit.
