You guys need to fix the level up XP for 51-60. It's still giving like 17k expertise and only 2k skill points like it does when you hit 50. It's converting most of the SP to Expertise.
Isn't that the solution to not actually changing things? You get the same amount but only a little is usable for leveling.

that might be intended. i remember they were saying that with raising the level cap and having the skill point gathering continue going even after reaching the new cap to get the new specialization stuff, they needed a way to let people keep getting expertise as well.
maybe this is simply the way they decided to go with.
Now clowns, that's another story. They scare the crap out of me.
We fight them too. Entire armies spilling out of Volkswagens.
We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending them in.
It definitely seems like a good idea with fleet projects requiring an excess of 1 million Expertise and all rep projects needing little bits as well. It can be quite easy to go through a lot.

Can't use the Manheim Device or the Tipler Cylinder in the new Mobius T5-U as the consoles haven't been updated.

The special console on some ships may disappear as they are not correctly being upgraded at this time.
Patience young Gornwalker.
I am curious though as to how it will work for special consoles on ships. I'm guessing they will be upgradable with DR (hopefully at no charge because some lower tiered ships in the c-store are purchased just to get the special console, and maybe the ship costume).
What about special weapons that come on C-store ships like quad cannons, bio-neural warhead, wide-angle quantum torpedo, etc.? Will those be upgradable also? Probably shouldn't need to upgrade since they do scale with player level, so hopefully they continue to do so. The same goes for universal consoles on c-store ships, they have no mark and scale with player level.
We all have so many questions and get so few answers. :P

There's a problem with the way they're implementing it though. There isn't enough content coming to get from 51-60 and actually play through the content without finding a secondary way of leveling up the way it is at the moment.
I am a ship collector.
I have virtually all of the Fed Ships on my main character....about 40 of which are TFU upgradeable.
I have a few lockbox ships which I think will upgrade for free....but that's still more than 30 Cstore upgrades...
At $5.00 per upgrade that's $150.00 which does not include all my tier five Romulans and Klingons. That's about 40 ships and the grand total (assuming the lowest stated upgrade cost of $5.00) is around $200.00. (If the upgrade cost is 10.00, then double the cost.....horrors.)
This is more than I will be paying for the Delta Rising Expansion or what I paid for the Legacy of Romulus Expansion. It's twice as much as I paid for the science destroyer nine pack. It's the same as the 199.99 I paid for my lifetime subscription.
Cryptic....why not give ship collectors, arguably your best customers, a break and give us a ship upgrade pack (account wide unlimited TFU tokens for one low price....I'm thinking $50.00). I mean, anyone who has to pay for 10 upgrades is a good and loyal customer. Anyone who has to pay for 40 upgrades (like me) will swear everlasting allegiance to Cryptic's largesse and goodwill for the very reasonable volume discount.

So i take it you have an inside source at cryptic that tells you the exact number of story missions they are planning on coming out with, and can tell you 100% there are no other ways being implemented to rapidly gain XP?

This is already implemented, the delta missions give massive amounts of expertise, currently about 23k per mission
I have noticed that after upgrading several ships, a number of the ship specific consoles become unusable. I do hope there is going to be a fix for this, otherwise it will be very upsetting.
Is anyone able to copy over their KDF aligned Romulan/Reman from Holodeck to Tribble?
Well, I was able to copy over my KDF aligned Romulan Republic Alien just recently. Works just fine.

You can bet there will be. What you upgrade is quite technically a new ship with the loadout and customization options of the older version and cryptic probably hasn't gotten around to adding in the full list of T5-U exceptions to existing console restrictions. Its not a design feature, its just an existing gap in development which is to be expected with something this early on tribble.

I finally got a chance to see what the new upgrade might be for my fleet excelsior. Even though that wasn't on the list of the already ships that can be upgraded. It looks like I will get a new engineering console spot. Hell yeah, if that is true.

didnt think so,.....
Wait and see, maybe im wrong, maybe im right
Either way, making 2 missions level 50, then the next 2 51, etc. etc. Is not going to work with the current system, and they seem to be sticking to that procedure.

+10 I feel your logic is correct
His logic is not only correct but there is a dev post stating just that.
