Failure to Launch

First the launcher would only get me to Cryptic and crash because it "couldn't connect to the patch server." I gave up after a few tries and uninstalled and reinstalled. Now I can't get the launcher to launch because it "can't connect to the patch server."

Going to completely miss Friday's freebee because of this.

    Same here.

    I wasn't on Thursday to get the patches, signed on last night, downloaded patches and can't get any further than the initial "cryptic" screen.

    Disabled the on-demand patching, waited 20 minutes for it to pull everything down. Same problem.

    Still cannot get in.

    I have the same problem here too- on tribble and holodeck-and on multiple computers, and this means that none of my family will be able to get any of the giveaway. I really feel this is a shame, and I hope that something will be done to solve this. I havn't been able to get on Tribble since 21st. I would guess it was the same on Holodeck, I hadn't tried. This, this is an incredible disappointment, and I hope something would be done for anyone who can't get onto the game.

    I have been unable to get past the launcher as well since a patch release during the 1st week of September. Does anyone read these posts? Do they know what's going on? This is very upsetting, I have a Lvl 50 Klingon and Fed characters and I'm a recruiter for 2 fleets. This is very very bad. I am now wandering how many more are out there that can't get past the launcher? I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times and I'm not doing it again. Even ran Repair ARC a bunch of times. PERFECTWORLD....HELP!!!! ARC...ANYBODY...HELP!!!
