I'm going in with my Odyssey Tactical. As to if she'll be a T5 or T5-U at that point depends on how much dilithium I stockpile and how much the upgrade will be.
I have to know more about the T6 ships before I commit to them but I do like the look of the Phantom and Eclipse.

I'm kinda new to STO, but I've been having some difficulty.
I downloaded he game through steam and whatnot, I've patched the files, but when I press "engage" the loading screen pops up and does nothing..I've waited for it to load for a few hours but nothing has happened. I've restarted it twice already but the same thing just happens....the loading screen is just chilling on the desktop doing nothing...am I missing something?
I figure the Delta Quadrant species (as a whole) already have a pretty good idea about Federation ships and will be expecting (read "ready for") them.
Also they have seen Klingons in an old ship, Ferengi in a shuttle and the Kazon probably know a bit about Cardassians from Seska.
They've seen Undine and Voth, Hirogen and Borg.
With the above in mind, I figure I'll go with something that'll make them think WTF? Where does THAT come from?
My trusty Chel Grett on most of my toons should do the trick. I didn't bother with the luxury liner as I honestly could not take it seriously but the corvette is a good bet for a few toons as well. Anything free, basically.

Have you disabled "On demand patching?"
When you have the launcher in front of you, choose options and disable it and then try it.
