Probably because they aren't designed for use by Intelligence Services? T5 ships were Ships of the Line. These Intel Ships come across more like armed SR-71 Blackbirds.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Well... the F-117 Nighthawk was more of a strike craft, but I guess that works too.

After hearing the description of these ships, and putting that to the design, I actually like the Fed cruiser a lot more than before. When you say intelligence ship, and then see the design of the cruiser, I immediately thought of the Stealth Bomber. Looooooooove that Rommie ship though

As long as you don't put cannons/guns on it, why not ??
(sr-71 fly faster then a bullit shot from a gun)

A bullet fired from a standstill gun
Say the sr-71 is flying at 800mph, and the bullet has a speed of 600mph. the bullet's initial speed would be 1400 mph. The bullet would be going faster than the sr-71

this is like my #1 pet peeve :P
Initial speed. The bullet will eventually slow down and the SR-71 will catch up. At witch point, the bullet will rip the Sr-71 apart.
