This issue has existed since the Dyson ships were released, there have been over one thousand bug reports on it, and we've even specifically ambushed a dev to ask about it- the dev in question had no idea the bug existed, but wasn't part of the bug fixing team and told us he would pass it up the chain. That was six months ago.

Moroever, Frost mentioned in another thread that they're super swamped in preparation for Delta Rising, so we're looking at an estimated time of 'hahahahaha it's never gonna get fixed' for completion.

But thanks for your report, I'm told they really do appreciate you making the reports, even if the devs never actually receive any of them.

Yeah that's about right. QA is so busy with internal X2 builds that they haven't been keeping up with bugs in this forum section for a week, two weeks now? I'm gonna have to bump all of my bug reports after X2 goes live or they'll never be seen.

Oh it's worse than that. As I said, this bug has been live since the dyson destroyers were released, we've been sending in bug reports since then. It's not so much that QA is swamped now- I mean they are sure- but that they just don't care about this specific bug. They have to know about it- there's no possible way for them to not know about it unless they are actively suppressing incoming bug reports on it- but we haven't seen any dev mention, and what should be a simple fix hasn't been made.

I don't expect bugs to be addressed until a couple of weeks after DR is released. Unfortunately it seems the devs only get a couple of months after a release to deal with bugs and then go back to "ignore" mode.

It's very frustrating that it seems that only taco keeps on top of bugs even in these busy times.

They should make a F.C.T. thread just to list all the BUGS.!!!

They need to assign couple of people to fix these issues other wise they won't work as advertise. Got to have some UAT working too with the QA.

Sorry, I meant more specifically that it's been a week or two since Frost's responses to bug threads have noticeably dropped off to essentially zero because he's clearly got a lot on his plate right now. Yeah even when he was posting regularly a couple weeks ago it's true that the time for programmers to fix bugs was long but at least then we knew he was verifying and sending bugs on into the database.

Frankly for a 10,000 zen ship pack this should be somewhat of a priority. I know they are busy, but still.

Do you realize that frost's responses are just that, right, responses?? it doesnt mean anything at all, it doesnt mean they are looking into this, not by a long shot lol. I am still amazed that some people rely on some devs to "believe" they are working on a fix xD. YES, they have a lot on their plate since the game was created, and its always the same story, "we have a lot of to do". xD. I could understand newbie people thinks that if a dev tells him "we are working on a fix", that means they are actually working on a fix. But experienced players? lol. Everybody knows that we need a miracle to see 1 little bug fixed. And of course, experienced players will not rely anymore on any dev words, unfortunately.

Its the same story.. a lot of bugs are not adressed because "they have a lot of work", a few months later, what is the excuse?? and then, the story repeats again, they dont fix anything right now because they have a lot of work with the next expansion... but a few months from here.. same story, no bugs fixed. We all know cryptic's story, so please dont be naive.

You will be better placing your hopes in something else. Seriously...

Besides, this bug is not so important... considering there are thousands of bugs out there still with the need to be adressed... i will be really really surprised if the devs fix this. xD. It will be really amazing, to say the least xd.

We were able to track this down and correct the error today, and hope to have the fix included in a future build.

The issue was far more complicated than it might seem on the surface. In the end, it required us to rebuild all of the affected powers using a new architecture, instead of simply tweaking the existing setup.

Players should see no difference in the effectiveness of the affected console abilities, other than finally being able to benefit from the appropriate cooldown reduction when 3+ of them are simultaneously equipped.

This is great, figured it was something substantial causing the issue. Looking forward to spamming more lightning bolts!
