"Great War! / And I cannot take more! / Great tour! / I keep on marching on / I play the great score / There will be no encore / Great War! / The War to End All Wars"
— Sabaton, "Great War"
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I noticed there wasn't an event or anything for the anniversary of Gene Roddenberry's birthday today, so I was wondering why not?
Maybe you could have a contest for user submitted foundry missions and turn the best one into an event episode for next year?
Just a thought. =-)
Uh, then you missed this little notice...

Oh look... they actually DID make money of it...
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
not sure tbh, gene created trek mostly for money purposes then the series itself, but it had a point and he used that to help drive the show towards the spiky taboo's of the day. however he also seem convinced trek was something good from what he wanted over the years, then there is majel who clearly thought the world of gene and his legacy, this even included bringing forward Andromeda on tv from his ideas and now you got the son who has been left behind who has no say in the thing his father made or his mother contributed through that connection.
if such a thing were to happen it would most certainly require gene's son to give permission, because he better then anyone would know if gene would enjoy the idea or wouldnt give cryptic studios the honor of destroying the mans memory for example.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
As long as the reward is not a Gene Roddenberry Birthday Suit.
Oh... eh... ok I'll pass for that one!
But Roddenberry was an extraordinary man, he did make TOS initially for a paycheck but I've been listening to interviews with the actors that knew him personally, both from TOS and TNG and it's like when Roddenberry was talking about his vision of the future and why he made those comments in the shows, people listened. The man had a way about him to convince others of his vision and I think that's what the real message was of the TOS and early TNG episodes, there were always these moral issues and ways of resolving them according to Gene's vision. For that I'll always be a fan of his and I do hope that somewhere along the road we'll see a new Trek series on TV that is based on that very vision of Gene. Don't get me wrong, JJ's Trek is enjoyable but it's just blunt and uninspiring when it comes to storytelling.
