    I would be surprised TBH.

They don't care about "negligibilities" like that. It would only confuse players and it wouldn't be exiting enough. Better add some dinos with lazors on! :D

it may come at some point or it may never come, but if it came next year there would only be 3 years and a half of it being around if sto is still around because then in game it would be 2411 and the nexus would of moved off elsewhere.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

I wouldn't expect it too soon though. Yes, in game it is now 2410, but remember, it was 2409 for four years in the real world. If they put the Nexus in game it won't necessarily be right away. It may be a couple real life years from now.

It would crack me up if the Nexus was used as a replacement for the Captain's Table reward for long-term subs.

All the more reason to leave it then, so we can get this other area of space added to the game on top of the nexus.

I'm betting the Nexus will be part of the 5th Anniversary.

Who knows, maybe it will throw us back in time to the original STO ESD / Qo'nos. You know, the time when STO was fun, and not a job. :P

I'm certainly expecting it to return in some kind of featured episode, after all November 18th will be the 20th anniversary of Star Trek Generations.

I loved the old ESD, too bad there was too many complainers about it.

Just pretend this game had no crafting and no reputations, and that the Foundry are all exploration missions.

Well can't blame them given fans were use to seeing the mushroom in canon. And the interior didn't make sense either.

I luv the new ESD interior.

But there is absolutely no reason that I can think of, in which They can't use either of the old interiors for a different station in the game.

I'm really surprised They haven't already.

It wouldn't surpise me if they added the Nexus at some point to STO. The Nexus was a pretty weak plot device in a pretty bad Star Trek movie.

    STO has added since launch:
The Nimbus III adventure zone from ST V.
    The Scimitar from Nemesis.
    Zindi lock boxes from Enterprise.

And they are about to add the Talaxians, the Kazon and the Ocampa from Voyager. So why not the Nexus from Generations?

    They could also add:
The warp 10 lizzards from Threshold.
    The Baku from Insurrection.
    The planet from Spocks Brain.
Give us the ability to temporarily change our characters gender, like in Pofit and Lace.
Add the plant the stung Riker in Shades of Grey.

If Cryptic does all that we can pretty much check all the boxes for "Worst Star Trek Ever".

I hope not, not enough Nimbus reminded me of a bad movie, the nexus would remind me of another one.
