Minding my own business on drosana station, and this person wanted to add me as a friend,i thought ok,then they asked me to join their fleet ,as i was'nt in any i clicked ok.This person then started asking me question about are you with anybody etc,i though eh.Then they started asking about role playing dateing,i replied i have'nt a clue what the hell you are on about, they said lots of people do it on sto,i replied it the first i've heard about it and i'm just playing the game for fun.I got a bridge invite and went on their ship ,they gave me a tour then asked me to follow them ,so i did ,the person then took me to their quaters and told me to go to the bed,i'm like wtf ,what the hell are you up to,i said you are a ****ing nutjob and are some weirdo, they replied i was being rude ,i deleted him/her from friends and removed my self from their fleet,i reported them as i'm sure this person is a perv or a groomer.

It takes all kinds of people to make this world go round.
Take it as a life-lesson and move on.
You'll find folks like this every where you go, don't take it personally.
Best to politely say not interested and exit the situation.
Don't dwell on it either, you'll just aggravate yourself.

This is an excellent example of why PWE has to wade through 100's of reports to find a true violation of the Terms of Service. Waste's a lot of time that could be better used for reports that involve large numbers of people (i.e. zone chat)

This person technically did nothing wrong and you if you don't want to "play" with them don't.

    Cool story and all.

One thing I would have done differently would be go on zone chat and yell out 'stranger danger!' but that's just me.
Retired. I'm now in search for that perfect space anomaly.

Did you get asked "Do you like movies about gladiators?" :D

Was the other guy's ship the U.S.S. Panel Van?
Risian Party cruiser with bumper sticker "if this ships a'rockin' don't come a'knockin'" or "I brake for weird @#$"? :D

    Ahhh, the horror, the horror.

Sorry, but its a little hard to get terribly worked up about the revelation that there are ERPers on Drozana.

Never accept friend invites from random people you don't know. Talk to them a bit before you do and decide if you like them.

Never accept fleet invites from a fleet you don't know. Do some basic research on them to see if they're a good fit for you and your playstyle.

Having followed those two things, I've never had any problems with creepers like that.

Also stay away from Drozana if you can.

The only time I go to Drozana is to the Lobi store or to re-run a mission. Other than that, I avoid it. Like the plague.

You don't need to go there for the Lobi store. If you double click on the crystals in your inventory, the store window opens up right then and there no matter where you are. Now you don't have to go there unless you're doing missions. ;)

Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

It is truly abominable that people are willing to inflict their perversions upon others in public - especially in Star Trek Online, which is a game open to a wide range of ages. Sadly, while there are several players who spend considerable amounts of their time in an attempt to self-police the game, to prevent minors (and everyone else) from having inappropriate content forced upon them, this sort of behavior impossible to entirely eliminate.

I am very sorry about the experience you had inflicted upon you, and hope that it won't sour you on the game.

That's why I always carry a bat'leth with me. You never know when you'll need it, but it's good to have handy when confronted by pervs.

Only if you're a pvpphobe. Such discrimination here, if you don't like PVP keep those sentiments to yourself and don't discourage the newer players.

I wouldn't mind a bit of scum and villiany. Hell I'd love to see a place full of pirates, bar fights and shady deals.

    Drozdana however...yeah...

I have to wonder sometimes if I go to the same Drozana as the rest of the forum pop.

The "creepiest" thing I can remember experiencing there was some guy complimenting my orians costume. (it wasn't even one of her skimpy ones)
It's not my fault if you feel trolled by my Disco ball... Sorry'boutit.

    Well... some people...
    okay, let's not go there.

i dont ever choose to waste my time with people who try to call me friend, i dont bother with it and its the way i was raised, got burned far too often i gave up trying nor will i try. on this game i dont ever accept friend invites and a few have tried and left in the invitational area where they either remove me one day or until i delete it or stays there forever, whatever, i dont bother with it. people can tolerate me or they dont, thats their choice.

so speaking as someone who knows a bit about things like this, just dont accept random invites or requests you dont know.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

Drozana is nothing but 40 year old virgins living in their parents basement with their fake spock ears and inflatable girlfriends dressed as klingons. Who here is really surprised by something like that happening there? Night time ESD is the same way. Just look at it this way, keeps the pervs, idiots, and losers off the streets.
