Doesn't hurt to project a greater awareness of kickstarter shows like Renegades that could potentially be future tv shows. You never know, this kickstart could end up being the best star trrek show....
Well fragmented information distribution hurts...
A quick search would have revealed said threads, and could have revitalised said thread.
Instead, we have 5 threads "New show", with the same boring link, no new discussions, no new info.
Eventually people will get bored reading the same info from different people, and the idea dies.
Cryptic is experiencing the same thing: Fragmented info, across Twitter, Facebook, Podcasts and their webpage last.
Instead of actually distributing the info, or at least offering a common platform to access it from, they just expect it to go nicely... Instead they get misinformation, partial info and rumors.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
I'd like renegades to turn into something but right now i want anything trek related to turn onto something.
im not convinced this will do the job. its obviously low budget (not their fault) and the acting is a little wooden from the clips i have seen so im not expecting great things, but if the studo picks it up they will put their own spin on it, tidy up scripts, etc so at the moment it only has to pique some people's curiosity.
i honestly think a new trek show is inevitable, just dont think it will be renegades.
Marketer 1: "Hey! Let's make something that is completely un-Star Trek and call it Star Trek!"
Marketer 2: "Yes! As long as it has Star Trek in the title it will sell! Brilliant!"
This is the 5'th thread in 2 months regarding "Renegades"....
Probably because of the 30-day necro rule. There are really only seven or so topics but they 'need' to keep being restarted. I mean 200k topics - really.

Quick title only search for "Renegades" (Hence Renegades had to be in the title... the posts themseves were not scanned) revealed one non-necro thread on this topic ...

I think that about sums it up.
There are no marketers, it was started by Walter Koenig (the guy who played Chekov) and Tim Russ (the guy who played Tuvok), they are actors. They are making a FREE movie. Also Star Trek was detoriating with every show and movie after TNG. While Renegades might seem a bit strange for a Star Trek show it's a fresh idea and deserves a chance. I would watch the hell out of a show about a Klingon battle cruiser or a class of cadets at Starfleet Academy too.
FKA K-Tar, grumpy Klingon/El-Aurian hybrid. Now assimilated by PWE.
Sometimes, if you want to bury the hatchet with a Klingon, it has to be in his skull. - Captain K'Tar of the USS Danu about J'mpok.

Perhaps I should have used a bright shiny neon sign that stated 'Sarcasm'. The comment was not really about Renegades (actually Axanar sounds more interesting).

If by sarcasm, you mean you should have done research first, then yes... you're right.

No, was an opportunity to take a shot at the rule in a way off topic setting (nothing to do with the game).
