If you obtained the FE Dyson Science Destroyer the Dilitium Store's Special Items and Boxes Reclaim Tab allows you to reclaim the Solanae Warp Core/Singularity Core and the Secondary Deflector. My question is, if you purchase the C-Store variant's can you discharge the FE ship and still maintain that Reclaim?

Good question based on what the devs have said I would say no. because in order for the reclaim to work you have to have the ship that the items originally came on to "reclaim" the item. Since the cstore packs dont have the warp/sig core or the deflector there is nothing to reclaim except the consoles.
Personally I have no intention on buying the cstore sci/destroyers so I wont be able to experiment.
Anybody else out there willing to try?
what you could do is reclaim about 10 or 15 of each of the cores/deflectors then dismiss the FE ship. you would then have a number of extras for future use, if this does turn out to be the case. If you can reclaim them after dismissing the ship, just recycle them.

It's actually harder than that because the store actually checks if you have a copy of the item in your inventory and on your active ship and you will not be able to reclaim the item if either of those is true. In theory the most number of copies one would be able to reclaim is 5 (1 for each ship and 1 in inventory)

Unless they've bought extra ship slots, up to the current max of 50. So the actual "theoretical maximum" would be ([Number of ships player owns] + 1) which could top out, for some players, at 51.

Sadly, if you TRIBBLE up and delete your FE Dyson Science Destroyer you can no longer 'Reclaim' its Deflector or Core. I got ahead of myself swapping to a C-Store variant and failed to remove the Core before deleting it to make space for the new ship. I do have the Secondary Deflector but I might be screwed on the Core.

I received a CS reply and I am indeed, screwed. There is no mechanism in place to restore either item if you have deleted the FE Destroyer.
So now they have set up a mechanism where you need to keep the now 'obsolete' ship in your inventory to use Reclaim. Boosts ship slot sales I guess. I did not take any chances last night so I did buy two extra slots.

They really should expand this to where you can reclaim ANY ship you've previously owned, maybe for a Dil cost.
Because new Loadouts can be reclaimed by /destroying your ship/, but regular, Fleet, and (most especially) Lobi ships can't be dismissed without complete and total loss.
Should make it, instead, where you can reclaim the items if you've EVER owned the relevant ships, and should be able to reclaim ships too--maybe keep the most recently "dismissed" ship in the teardown bay for 24 hours?
Anyone have a direct link to this? I'd like to offer feedback directly, but I found this at work and didn't save the link.
Are they going to make the FE Dyson ship purchasable via the Fleet Spire? I had no interest in grinding Q's obnoxious quests. I do have plenty of Fleet Credits, however.

There was an announcement that they would be adding it to the Lobi store.....for 600 Lobi. Kind of a d*#k move considering I've already 'bought' it with days of grind and/or Lobi for the Q-Packs.

Another Epic Fail. The Oddy and Bort can be purchased with Fleet credits. There is no excuse for they Dyson ships to be lobi instead.

The free oddysey and bortasque don't have consoles that are needed to complete set bonuses. More then the ship you're buying the 2 items you need on the ship to complete the 2 set bonuses.

Yeah, but not at the normal Lobi-store price per console/gear (200 Lobi), instead a whole 600 for both. And you don't NEED the Deflector to complete the Console set if you don't have the consoles, meaning the only people that might be able to use both are people who've already paid $50.
You don't tell people they have to pay up to $150 for ships, then stick the final piece to those ships on a potentially $150 Lobi ship--per character-- they'll trash because they already have the improved versions.
If you could buy JUST the items, a la carte, that might make sense, but would still be rather insulting. This goes well beyond that to dishonesty. Unless the C-store packs (and I've not looked) clearly state the final piece must be purchases with way too much Lobi per character, they're selling an incomplete product for entirely too much money.
I bought the Dyson Surveillance Destroyer off the C-Strore, to have a Romulan Science vessel for my science officer (The game doesn't mention beforehand "rommie science sux").
And now?
People are telling me I'd have to have finished the anniversary event for it to be complete.
So thanx.
I bought the Romulan Legacy Pack.
I bought the C-Store Ships.
But I (re-)started playing after two years break after the darn Anniversary Event.
I'd rather play the darn event than go through this hassle to get the ship equipped with things that are supposed to be in it (I'm not saying it would be the best build for it). But it's supposed to be experienced like that. With those consoles. Gameplay and somesuch.
Sure, I could equip it with Protonic Polarons and use the Jem Hadar XII set on it (which ate a ton of lobi upgrading before I bought this ...)
But then it's not the same ship.
That's definitely a huge spoiler.
=== Rant end ===
Here's my current setup for it (this is not a maxed build, but stuff I had available):
I'm currently running antiprotons (because I had them) with the free Solanae XII-Set.
The durability in the Dyson Sphere is astounding, probably due to the Eng Consoles.
The weapons layout will sure be a tad creepy for some. I tried to go with all cannons and turrets but noticed that I won't really get good DPS due to my incredibly underperforming flying skills :-)
So I added in a couple of beams. A beam bank, because of the wider radius. And a beam array along with the omni-directional (and manually triggering BFAW1). After all this is a hybrid between a science vessel and an destroyer. It doesn't feel right not to be able to kill off missiles or small craft with fire at will when you're in science mode.
In the dyson sphere right now I end up with closing in to the target, throwing a singularity jump at them when I'm close, turn and give them a gravity well on top. Then they start to be able to take damage from the rest of the weapons. So the pure DPS is not what I fight with there anyway (dunno how others do it). But with all those swarmers and small craft around I'd probably go crazy without the beams ...
Now I'm thinking of how to optimize this (so that it still feels like a surveillance destroyer).
For Anti-Borg-Fights I'll probably want to exchange the shield consoles.
