Who's braimfart of an idea was it to put R&D between Inventory and Assets? That is nothing short of malicious.

no... because it can't hurt you.

annoying, dumb, maybe even a little odd, but not malicious.

why is this of all things a problem?

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

To me its a 1/10 on the annoyance scale and I see it as one of those things that will probably be tweaked in the future like the food items being moved below the commodities in the replicator menu.

only thing bothering me about it, is when i hit recycle on either tab i am given my whole inventory of items and materials.

i would like to see this separated.

^^^^^ FOR THIS REASON ALONE, it is evil.

But it's not malicious. The choice for it's location follow's Cryptics UI guidelines:

    1.) Find a spot.
    2.) Stick it there.
    3.) Next issue.

It reminds me of how "claim reputation token" can not be hidden or removed, even after redemption in the Reputation tab.

Adding a few more clicks here, a few more clicks there.

    It really is annoying.

I think I'm pretty positive with the other changes, even if they did scale back doffing. I just hate the inventory tab for R&D being placed before assets.

    It hinders my play style.

Well, when you've had to click two or three times, instead of the one click, 50, 100, 500, 1000 times, you will understand why this decision is malicious. It's like the constant confirmation messages. They are unnecessary, and distract from the game with irritation.

"Why yes, I do want to dock at Earth Spacedock. That's why I clicked "Dock." Was there somewhere else here I am supposed to be able to frackin' dock here?"

For those rules lawyer types getting hung up on their Merriam-Webster bookmarks, for any conversation, look at the context. The context for this conversation is a game. Games are made for enjoyment. Decisions that impede or remove enjoyment from a game are destructive of the game play. Hence, malicious. If you need further help, go back to grade school. Is that clear enough so that *even you* can understand it?

Tab doesn't bother me as much as when you go to sell items out of your inventory, it prioritizes the R&D stuff. So you have to scroll through a ton of crafting junk to sell your real junk.

Just make the box a little bigger, then you only need to click on assets.
