Clicking-scratching sounds with G930 headset

Doesnt happen in any other game just with STO very annoying clicking sounds all the time any ideas?

    Do you have THX true studio on your sound card and enabled? It does that for me in STO as well.

    IIRC, there was a thread about this problem sometime last year, or maybe the year before. I think it was all due to the sound engine that Cryptic is using for STO. Something about a bug in it that is fixed in later versions. Wish they'd upgrade it because I get the same problem with my G930s as well. But, from what I've heard, it's not just a drop-in replacement. And since it's affecting "so few" players, I honestly can't see Cryptic re-directing devtime to it anytime soon.

    i got soundblaster xfi .. get quite a lot of poping and crackleing .. after playing for some time :S .. its not like its all the time eaither .. just some maps ... so i wouldnt assume its just with the head set =X it gets really annoying sometimes to the point you wanna mute the game :S
