    Aux2Bat and Technicians

I don't mean tie it back to EPtX skills, I mean to get rid of it entirely. Of course this will never happen because most of the PvE player base can't survive without it, or even start to put together another type of build. Anyone remember the days of pugging STFs before A2B was EVERYWHERE? It really showed who actually had an understanding of the game, and who didn't have the slightest idea. Now it just shows who can log into the forums, copy/paste an A2B build, and suddenly pump out DPS at silly levels. As for PvP, entered a solo/duo arena last night and 8 out of 10 ships were running dual A2B builds, so what does that tell you...

    FAW

Don't actually remove it from the game, but bump it up from Ens-Lt-LtCdr to Lt-LtCdr-Cdr for I, II, and III respectively. Also refer to Virusdancer's threads about taking away one of the three boosts it gives to beams (rate of fire, number of targets, amount of damage) to put it in line with cannon boosts, in other words make two beam boosts (not including overload) like cannons have scatter volley and rapid fire.

*I also love the hate on PvP here. There is literally nothing in this game anymore forcing anyone to PvP, so why do you care? Just stay away and continue to QQ about your lack of rep reducing you from 25k dps to 22k dps in ISE. Oh and in case you forgot, this is a multiplayer game...

Nothing wrong with STF's except it needs more variation. More than shoot this or that.

Not so much a removal but i'd do something with the Risa Classic beach/ Andoria/ Vulcan social maps. Allow jet pack use on these maps. On Andoria allow us to use winter toys like frost boots and snowball guns.

Koren, I want her to have a fresh cup of Shut the Tribble up in Surface Tension.

This. Please get rid of Captain Whiny B*tch of the IKS Whineatyou', or give me an STFU button to use on her.

Oh, and nonremovable Tovan Khev. (Not Khev, just his nonremovability.)

They will have to bump up the Scimitar even more to match that. Also lower the rates of cannon rapid fire maybe limit it to only Cannon Rapid Fire II on the Scimitar specific.

PVE and some PVP players will start complaining overpowered if Cryptic did that.

The Scimitar. The OP nonsense ship that took powercreep and introduced it to Usain Bolt. Hate the design - it looks like a reject Batplane design created by some 12 year old fanboy.

And I am not interested in having a discussion about this - it's all been said before. I don't like it. I can see why others do, but I - personally - don't like anything about it.

Hmm... this is a tough question. Since it would be very hard to remove content or game mechanics, I'll choose something semi-realistic:

    The outdated visuals

I don't try to be mean, quite the contrary. I dislike quite a few things about STO, yet I do think the game redeemed itself here and there and evolved even. What would make it generally more appealing IMO would be a removal/rehash of all the old visuals still in the game.

They reimagined ESD, Starfleet's uniforms, Starships (type-6 material refits) - this should continue. I would like to see a removal of all the old character models (uniforms), old ship classes that make no real sense, the ground weapon models and see all of those replaced with closer to canon designs and higher quality models.

Disco balls, party guns, guns that fire snowballs, ice boots, fireworks for ships, and anything else similar.

I don't care much about roleplaying or canon ships or whatever, but these things are just annoying and ridiculous.

It takes something away from the game when I realized I just stopped the Borg from taking another system to return to ESD where some sort of Wii Mario dance party is happening.

No the problem (at least mine) is that it was timegated. When we worked together and beat a phase we had to wait several minutes for the next phase to start. The timegated TRIBBLE has to go, the variation needs to stay.

Two of my three endgame ships do just fine without any lobi gear, and the only lobi item on the third is a tach converter.

And then they "fixed" the "bug" that would stop the spawns, resulting in infinite spawns that would eventually overrun most pug teams and make it basically impossible to close rifts anymore.

Variety = good. Forcing you to spend a certain amount of time in the mission via infinite enemy spam and a timer = bad.

I would also put lobi items in the C-store, and nerf/change Technicians doffs. A2B is fine without them.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

I agree on party balls and guns I would actually like to cause a physical harm to the idiot that thought them up. The person who came up with these items is an idiot and not worthy of working in the industry as they violated a development rule. Every time that TRIBBLE goes off around someone with low end or mid grade video card they see lag and it causes more strain on your own resources which means they can't play the game they might be giving you money. It was a dumb decision and one that really reflects on a poor developer.

I would get rid of the marketing department at PWE who doesn't know TRIBBLE about a North American/EU Gamer.

If I had to choose annoyances I wouldn't take away the rights of others but just make it so I don't see them much as whitelisting already works. If I don't want to see crackhead ships then I don't, if I don't want to see party balls and balloon guns then I don't. Make it my choice not forced. This is actually a solution that would work.

I would remove the factional stuff for teaming and bases. The war is over let's just let it go.

    - Remove 90 Degree firing arcs for energy weapons and torpedos, replace with 180 degree

Just increase the options for weapon configs that have a side that can fire all weapons. DBBs with nothing on the back that can complement them, lets fix this.

    - Remove the single power level batteries replace with the combos and make them the new standard.

It's bad enough we can only stack up to 20. Device slots should be more flexible for more interesting ship configs

    - Remove sector space and replace it with something that doesn't suck (heh). A 3-D star map that shows live activity would be much better. At least it'd get rid of the walls.

Using Earth as a placeholder for some alien plants still for over 2 years. LMAO, wow.

I'd also remove transwarp and slipstream and subspace folding and get back to an entirely driver coil boosting model. Hate gimmicky sector space travel. Make +12.5 driver coil consoles for the new crafting system!!! Slap 4 of those in my ship and it would be the equivalent of dirp and antimatter containment... THEN I could go out and get dirp and antimatter containment on top of that!!!

Who would need transwarps and slipstreams and subspace folding at that point?
