Constellation Class Tomorrow? :D

So who here is crossing their fingers for the Constellation Class to be released tomorrow Monday the 16th for Captain Picard Day? :D I for one have zen saved up for it!^_^

    If we get the Constellation at all, Captain Picard Day would be the perfect day to get it.

    The model exists. So the only questions are when they release it and in what form.

    While Smirk said we'll get no free Constellation, it in no way means it won't get added to C-store, Fleet store, wherever.
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    If we do get one, I hope it has a similar boff layout to the Mirror Heavy Cruiser, the mirror one is a nice wee ship. :) I am aware that the Mirror HC shares a layout with the Ambassador so unlikely that it'll be exactly the same but one can hope.:o

    Also, a ship based on a ship older than a Galaxy means it should be good. :D

    For what it's worth, the Constellation IS a Heavy Cruiser, so you'll more than likely be able to use its hull on the Mirror Heavy Cruiser.

    We'll get it. But, I highly doubt we will get it tomorrow. There would've been developer's blogs by now discussing it.

    No, I mean you can get yourself a Mirror Heavy Cruiser, with its BOFF seating layout and all, and skin it as a Constellation. The Constellation itself will probably be a tier 3.5 ship similar to the Thunderchild and basic Excelsior classes.

    Though my guesses are merely extrapolated from available data, it may in fact be entirely different. *shrug*

    I think it would be nice if they added the Constellation tomorrow, I wouldn't use it (got my Vesta baby) but i think it's a ship the game should have. :)

    All I want is the equivalent to a fleet version of the Mirror Heavy Cruiser, 10 consoles, buffed hull and shield and the like. Perhaps I should go beg in one of the "Give us Fleet Mirror Ships" threads.:D

    We're getting a brand new heavy cruiser retrofit refit tomorrow! Along with a new mission where we get to partner with Jean-Luc Picard (with Sir Patrick providing plenty of voiceovers to quench our thirst for more Picard) on an epic mission to explore ancient Iconian ruins to learn more about them! It all comes to a climatic conclusion where we somehow end up on the Stargazer itself and do battle with a powerful Iconian vessel...AND WIN. Special console is of course, the Picard Maneuver. HOORAY!

    Totally confirmed guys. Believe me.

    It would have to be Tier 4.

    Tier 5 would make Picard cry.

    We do not however, have a C-Store T5 Heavy Cruiser option like other ship variants, eg the Heavy Escort and Advanced Heavy Cruiser both have their T3.5 and T5 variants as well as Fleet. So in all likelihood it could be a new T3.5 and a new C-store T5... if it is coming.

    I highly doubt it will be tomorrow. As usually with ship releases there is a blog about it for at least a week. Telling about it. And at times there is other press releases before the stats blog pops up. So usually we know a ship is coming.

    The Heavy Cruiser already has a fleet version as well as a retrofit version, and despite what your wording is implying they are not the same ship. And as far as I know, there is not two versions of a retrofit of any given ship type aside from fleet variants.

    Also, the CM(or a dev, I forget which) said that none of the ships available from fleets will become zen store ships. This presumably includes the existing Heavy Cruiser Retrofit.

    I can just expect that it'll probably be another event reputation to grind. Not looking forward to that, as the last two really burnt me out.

    Still really looking forward to seeing the ship, though! I can expect it might come with a Picard Maneuver console.

    Doesn't stop them from doing what they did to the Patrol Escort and just replacing an existing fleet variant with a new one based on a new c-store variant. :)

    Nah it's cool. I hardly take offense from internet arguments any more. Get some rest and then come back. =)

    But to address your last point, there was no Patrol Escort Refit available in the first place. That was a new thing. But the retrofit and fleet versions already exist for the Heavy Cruiser. Maybe I'm not understanding the scenario you're imagining.

    Errr, ok i'm confused. Correct me if i'm mistaken but isn't the constellation allready in game in the form of a skin for the Heavy Cruiser et al?

    It was accidentally included with... 8.5 if I'm not mistaken. It was removed the following week, but they allowed anyone that customized their Heavy Cruiser to include the saucer to keep it.

    The Constellation hasn't been officially released yet.
