edited July 2014 in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
Players that "trade in" there "Fleetkit" at release of Season 9 can not trade in there existing MKXI blue kitmodules at the embassy. The Seaker drone LEVEL 59 is better than the previosly Version. (See Release note 06/12/14)

The "fix" is already live but does nothing to help players already affected.

I made a ticket requesting my owed modules but am not so hopeful for it to be answered.

If the fix is live, then, according to Borticus' notes on the fix, CS is supposed to have a rewardpack they can grant you that will give the replacement modules. If you need one, you'll have to file a ticket with Customer Service.

I've also put a ticket in, but have not heard anything back from CS.

I haven't had this problem but Cryptic is actually correcting their mistake other than telling you to regrind it after it gets fixed? lol

Communication could have been better, but at least they are fixing the mess they caused - this time.

I traded in my MK XII Romulan Engineering Fabrication kit after the fix went live and got indeed all MK XII modules. However they are blue quality while other trade-ins reward purple quality modules. Is this working as intended or a new bug?

The trade-ins are not all equal quality. You'll have to ask Borticus how which kit got what module was decided.

Seems like it was setup to where people who did and didn't purchase these fleet kits prior to S9 that they also allowed for people to be able to upgrade. I figure the major reasoning for this is so when future stuff like lockboxes or reputations come out that it can slip in slightly better items as time goes on.

I just hope doesn't happen like when elite fleet bat'leths came out that it purged/deleted my old collectors item that was anti borg bat'leth heh.

Seems every other trade-in gave the fleet kit and 3 purple Mk XII and a green Mk XII so that is why this one seems odd as the Spire Sci kit that was giving a white was also upgraded to match the other trade-in kits.

How long is it supposed to take to get my ticket resolved? Waiting since friday (13th... maybe that was a bad idea).

It is indeed odd that "Romulan Engineering Kit Mk XII" comes with 1 ultra rare, 3 rare, and 1 uncommon Mk XII module when the other Mk XII fleet kits come with 1 ultra rare, 3 very rare, and 1 uncommon Mk XII module.
The trade-ins are not all equal quality. You'll have to ask Borticus how which kit got what module was decided.

I think most of us reading this thread would appreciate it if Borticus would post a comment explaining how the quality and Mk of the modules in each kit were decided. Maybe, he can also explain why Mk XII modules don't drop. There seems to have been some internal miscommunication regarding that matter, as adjudicatorhawk was under the impression that Mk XII modules drop.

I also got a white quality module on one of my fleet kits (I think it was the Romulan Engineering Mk XI) but I'm not sure which one as I have 7 characters and its become difficult to track which one has what without loading them each in turn.

So my ticket is in as well: #140621-000333

I have to say, while it would have been best if this kit hadn't been bugged in the first place, it really is quite sporting of Cryptic / PW to offer this replacement. :)

Opened a new bug report here
    http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1151111

I justify it because although the bug has been fixed for people who have yet to trade in, the majority of us who already have the bugged module reward are given no way to redeem the modules that are owed to us. CS have been unresponsive on the issue.

Ticket 140624-000436 submitted but I notice in my ticket history the original one I opened is nowhere to be seen, and probably ignored outright.

Still haven't received anything, ticket has been closed. So I guess those of us who traded in our kits when the kit revamp went live are screwed or what?
