Ultimate Game Cards are being Retired.

I just saw this on my Facebook account and I had to share.
After seven years of having fun helping gamers pay online for virtual currency in their favorite games, Ultimate Game Card will be retiring later this year.

Aug 15th, 2014: UGC will no longer be available for sale
Sep 30th, 2014: Last day to redeem your UGC codes

Please note that some games might stop accepting UGC before the retirement date so be sure to redeem your cards sooner rather than later!

    This is the only way I can get zen, since they don't accept prepaid cards!

    Oh, wow. I remember using them when I started playing SD Gundam Capsule Fighter. Never used it for STO, though

    I don't think so. I don't remember seeing them. I would have to look, otherwise my money is permanently out of Cryptic's reach. :(

    Although I do have access to PWE cards, I prefer the UGC as they are sold where I can get $0.10-$0.20 off a gallon of gas for every $50.00 spent. The PWE cards are not even sold at my retailer.

    Yeah, I just recieved UGC's newsletter announcing this. My question is, and considering some of the comments so far, how will it affect PWE/Cryptic in general and STO in particular for UGC to be closing?

    I know that some of us can just put the money into Paypal, but for others UGC is all we have since not everywhere that could carry PWE's own prepaid cards does...

    Hmm. Gonna be a lot harder to find PWE cards around here.

    By Sept 30th? That's hard to say but it's possible.

    Thank god I now have PWE cards. The fact that these are going away though are rather depressing. :(

    Sadly, those were my only way to buy zen. PWE prepaid cards aren't stocked in Australian retailers. I've checked. I guess this means from now on, I won't be able to support the game monetary wise. I'm sorry guys.
