Risa Swimsuits Need Some "Trimming"

Well, it's been talked about at Risa by players, but I don't think anybody's brought it up in the boards. Probably too embarrassing to do so, but WTH, someone has to. I'll jump in front of the bus I guess... Risa Female Swimsuits need some "Trimming."

    It's the thong... the black underwear that's a fixed part of the female body model. Very strange that they didn't completely cover it with the swimsuits.

    I think it's just a shadow actually. The game seems to always add shadows in certain spots regardless of lighting.

    I've noticed that when my swimsuit loads on the character screen, the thong pops up first. Kinda similar to how you can see it when your character transports out of a map.

    Ah well, it's not very noticeable. Looks more like a shadow.

    It's this. But it's part of the female texture. It's odd they didn't cover it, or make it smaller.

    They DID!

    I took a long look at the bikinis and realized that the area covered by the thong is larger than some of the bikinis! Part of the skin texture actually covers it, and under just the right circumstances it makes an outline. But not between the legs. the part I'm talking about is up higher... and not visible most of the time.

    Yes ...... you all know it, you've all seen it. Some NPC's and toons are in desperate need of a waxing. Please..... Devs......did you really overlook that?

    (not minding their personal style..... but you wouldn't want to see people wearing it like that wouldn't you? They're pretty much prancing it)

    Yeah lol, this really needs fixing. It looks horrible. :S My toons trim much better than that.. :P

    I agree, this is a major problem, and quite traumatic. Once you see it, you can never un-see it. The 1970's were 431 years ago, this is one retro fad that should not make a comeback.

    Please add a day spa to Risa ASAP so that the ladies can go get some much needed personal maintenance.

    Waxing is unnatural and carries certain health risks.
    And quite frankly there is absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever of going natural, like people did millennia before us. :rolleyes:

    As I understand it, the "bush" you are seeing is either the default pair of black panties that shows up whenever female characters are wearing more revealing clothing or just the way the shadows are rendering in regards to certain Risian swimwear. Possibly a combination of both.

    In either case, yeah, this is something that should be fixed so that things look a little less...awkward.

    Didn't people start..."going bald" because it helped with keeping certain parasites away?

    Additionally, hair, especially body hair, is something that is slowy being evolved out of us humans because it's no longer as necessary as it once was for our survival. Maybe by the time of Star Trek, people don't even need to get waxed?

    don't forget the female caitians to if they wear skirt type outfits and u look up the skirts the caitians don't even have underwear on lol.

    Here is a screenshot of female captain in bikini. Clearly waxing is required. Please, devs, provide some free coupons for our female captains.

    (i.e. fix textures, please)

    I actually got a PM in the game earlier about this...I know what it is, but I also know what it looks like. If that black thong has to stay, could the bikini bottom be made a little bigger to cover it up? Cropped, I love the look, outside of this oversight. I really don't want to get messages like that in game again.

    I think it was designed for the Orion Bikini's which do cover up the black part. I'm not going to lie, this is a mistake that really shouldn't have been made. Just seems rather.... amateurish.
