TRIBBLE Maintenance and Release Notes - May 20, 2014

We will be bringing down the Tribble server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.40.20140427a.15

General:
  • Resolved an issue where in rare occasions, items could duplicate upon map transitions.
  • Fluidic Cocoon:
    • Increased chance to trigger from 5% to 20%.
    • No longer triggered by damage-over-time effects such as Kinetic Shearing, Sixth Sense, Immunity Response and Adrenal Release.
      • These Toggle Traits can no longer be activated while Stealthed.
  • Added Profession-Specific Kits to each of the following Missions, on both initial play and replay:
    • Task Force Hippocrates (Fed only)
    • Keep Your Enemies Closer (Kdf only)
    • Fistful of Gorn (all factions)
    • Cutting the Cord (all factions)
    • Of Bajor (all factions)
    • Removed the Kit reward from "Abducted" (Rom only)
      • Replaced it with your choice of ground plasma weapons.
      • This Kit reward was moved to "Fistful of Gorn" so that all factions may receive it.
  • “Surface Tension” has been moved to the end of the Solanae Dyson Sphere arc in the episode journal.
    • The minimum level requirement for this mission is now level 50.
  • Resolved an issue where players could sometimes get trapped when respawning during the Undine Assault queued event.
  • Resolved an issue which was causing bridge officers and npcs to become stuck in their pathing on Nimbus ground.
  • The Vault: Ensnared queued event now gives out the correct rewards.
  • Reduced the damage dealt by turrets mounted on the exterior of the Voth city-ship in The Breach Elite.
  • Rigelian Females no longer have access to tails.
    • This was not meant to be an option.
  • Letheans now have arms when equipping the Voth Light Upper in the tailor.
  • Borg feet once again appear on Borg Liberated Bridge Officers.

Known Issues:
  • New kit modules do not have their own search category in the Exchange.
  • Kits in your inventory cannot be equipped by double-clicking on them.
    • You can drag and drop slot them.
  • Bridge Officers cannot wear all kit pieces captains are able to wear.
  • Occasionally, bridge officer and captain powers are removed from the power tray when transitioning to another map.

    How could it ever be triggered by Adrenal Release, that's a ground trait and Fluidic Cocoon is Space?

    I suspect that's a formatting issue with two bullet points getting merged. Should prob be something like:


    Fluidic Cocoon:
    Increased chance to trigger from 5% to 20%.
    No longer triggered by damage-over-time effects such as Kinetic Shearing.

    Sixth Sense, Immunity Response and Adrenal Release:
    These Toggle Traits can no longer be activated while Stealthed.

    Still no fix for the Romulan Engineering Kit - Fabrication Specialist Mk XII Trade-In Error.

    Can we get an update, ackknolgement, or some type of reason why people could play sto prior to season nine on max settings in area like NWS and now have issues with the same settings.

    Similiar was asked couple of times during S8 when players couldnt even start the game for about a month.

    No official answer was ever given out.

    Yes, I understand, but communicating about issues players are having helps keep players in the game. I wish someone at Cryptic could understand. I understand bugs happen, they are the natural evolution in games continuing to exist. I can even handle that it might not be repaired until the next expansion, or season 9.5 if there is one. But letting players know they are working on it keeps players like me playing.

    One thing I have seen is, that in the last few month the Devs became pretty much chatty. More than before. But there are still some topics and questions that won't be answered. (Lt. CMD Tac for Galaxy-X, Galaxy Model overhoul, certain Bugs,...)

    No fix for the Undine Ground Messages repeating issue?


    Having to relaunch the game after playing the mission a couple times is becoming frustrating.

    What about
    - DOFF space slots reset bug every gdm time i have to put same doofs in space slots no matter which type of doof I pick purple green or blue on all of my toons ROM FED KLING (that was the problem with BOOFS in past). And its not unique doof (only one for slots) problem i think it start with season 9.

    - Undine PVE ground elite sound repeat bug when it starts you have to close the game and start again or you will listen stupid dialogs for eternity .
    In the beginning there was all and then become nothing

    I AM PISSED OFF AFTER 3 YRS. I STILL CAN'T USE OR CHANGE OR DELETE OUTFIT IN 3 OF 5 OUTFIT SLOTS ON MY KLINGON TOON !

    Another error is that the trade-in version of "Spire Experimental Science Kit XII"" comes with white "Biofilter Sweep Mk XII" instead of green.

    That looks better at first I thought it meant that you couldn't use kinetic shearing if you were using an enhanced battle cloak lol :D

    I was a bit disturbed by what season 9 was going to do with traits and such but being able to use a b'rel in the bomber mode the way one would expect to be able to the kinetic shearing and these new torpedoes makes them fun to play :) Shrinks my list quite a bit now lol.

    Umm ... Did someone remember that they need to double this "fix" for the all new and improved Rom Rep rewards?

    Occasionally, bridge officer and captain powers are removed from the power tray when transitioning to another map.

    Not occasionally happening more often now more than before. Like it's resetting the trays before you do a mission run. Also now appearing more on prior and new ship loads. I am getting ready for shuttle event same issue like the ships with the tray except on the shuttle tray is blank on controls and ship consoles slots for devices.

    For each ship you could share the same devices and consoles but that seems to be acting up like they're not appearing when you select a different ship to run.

    Can we have an update on this issue, even just a "We're still trying to figure out what's going on"?

    Because this is seriously cutting into my enjoyment of the game and has rendered characters completely unplayable and frozen others in their current ships even if I might want to swap to a new one (no seriously, I bought the Tempest, got it set up on one character then this happens!)

    Could we get a fix on the 3-piece bonus on the Undine space set? The blast does not kill the puddles like it is supposed to.

    I gotta say for me this bug is sort of a game breaker, any ETA on a fix or are you devs still trying to figure out where there problem lies?
    It has spread to three toons (all tacs.. maybe a hint?) one of them not even Level 50. On the max lvl ones I tend to avoid switching zones and only do space stuff so it won't happen. But on a new toon it's pretty damn annoying.
    When playing episodes there tends to be alot of switching between ground and space which often forces one into battle without a pause to fix the tray.

    It is most reliably reproduced when switching from space to ground and then back to space.
    The bugs appearance seems to be favored by switching ships (that's when it started happening to me), discharging may also be a factor.

    I hope you Devs find a fix for it soon.
