Risa/Social Events

I was wondering if anybody ever really goes to Risa anymore...I like it there. Are they going to have another festival this year? Because I really wish there were more social events and side-games to play with each other. And of course dance parties.. :cool:

    There is a new Summer Event coming and there will be new stuff that is awesome.

    I know, I've been playing for a while...but I've never posted much on the forums. I usually just read. I have been away from STO for like 6 months, have been out of the country. I just started playing again this week, so I'm a little behind. :) That's good to know.

    There is a summer event every year on Risa.

    The FIRST annual Summer event was last year. But yea... Risa is a ghost map the rest of the year...

    Actually, I've been there a few days ago, just enjoying floating around and taking in the scenery. ;)

    There were a number of people there and even a bit if a party started. Dancing, Dabo....

    What you would expect on Risa.

    I went to Risa yesterday for the first time since the summer festival ended last year, and that was just to have a look at the new building they added to the map.
    It's not my fault if you feel trolled by my Disco ball... Sorry'boutit.

    I just visited and played dabo for a bit, took in the scenery, found a few people dancing and joined for a moment. Pretty dead, but I think it's a beautiful planet.

    Thing is, when people say they floated around, that's not a euphemism.

    Many of us picked up floaters last year. Basically, jet packs.

    Enormous fun, I must go back and take in some high altitude sunsets.

    I didn't try one out yet. I see you can rent one...but I want one of the good ones. :P Guess I have to wait for the festival?
