Nerving NWS with a cooldown is fine but grinding fleet marks for our large Starbase projects is becoming tedious. Why?
Because the second place to get a decent amount of those Fleet Marks is still bugged as hell for a very long time.
Power Plant and City (both hard) are frequently (almost always) bugged. Can someone please fix this problem asap? Or give the loyal gamer another place to get those marks a bit more easy.
Crying with you. Defera is bugged ever since it appeared on Tribble for the first time. However, I did notice a fix of Higher Ground recently (!).
Probe still counts for everyone on the map when completed.
City does not reset properly, thus fails to start on most occasions; or it resets during a bugged run in the partially assimilated stage (and when it does, it can be started again properly).
Power Plant has the occasional Drone not spawning as an enemy, stopping progress; sometimes the generator to start the mission is not interactable; it is still possible to kill the Elite drone when it first walks out, stopping progress (Heavy drones won't get out of their alcoves).
Temple will occasionally reset and needs to be started again after the first wave.

The problem is the unnecessary hurry u guys have to gather marks. There are plenty of ways to gather fleet marks, and a lot of the people never go to Defera anymore, because as you said, its bugged like hell, and i dont think it will be ever fixed. I dont have any problem gathering fleet marks, and i never go to Defera anymore. Using a fleet mark boost, just doing a couple of queues here and there, i gather more than 300 fleet marks every day. More than enough.
I do the doff missions. Once you reach 100K in commendation points (aka Rank 4), let it go up another 10K or so and turn each 10K at your fleet starbase for fleet marks. The turn-in-commendation-points console should be near the mail and bank consoles (in the same area on KDF station, in the same room on Fed station). Granted, it takes a while to get up to rank 4, but once there, just do the missions that earn you either 50 dil. or at least 400 commendation points or both. But it's far less grind than going to Defera Invasion Zone and -- if you don't like fighting the Borg in deep space alerts -- easier than fighting the Borg. STFs that earn fleet marks are another option.
You also get free doffs for completion of each commendation rank (green for rank 1, green for rank 2, blue for rank 3, and purple for rank 4), but you have to get them from the store (either, once you get the notice that you've completed a rank no matter where you are, or go directly to Starfleet Academy or Klingon Academy and go to the store there). And if you do the doff mission chains, a successful completion of those earns either a blue or purple doff for all or almost all of them, and you don't have to get those doffs from the store, they're assigned to you automatically (provided you have enough doff slots; if not, each time you're told you can't add any more doffs, clear some or buy some more, and then get your reward doff).

Dont think so, the problem is bugged places within the game and not my fanatic way of collecting Fleet Marks (FM's).
If you accept lack of quality from those missions, what will happen if the missions you are doing now get bugged and don't get fixed. Thus you post on the forum like me to report and someone would say something similar like you do now? Get used to it and take less for granted?
Sorry to say but you don't make sense with your suggestion of a strange workaround. If there are missions within the game, they should be bugged free, or just remove the missions and create something that does work and/or don't nerf a mission like NWS while you don't take the time to fix a place like Defera first.
Why we need more FM's? We have starbase projects with a huge requirement of FM's. Example; if we want to finish our starbase before the year 2057, some decent missions with good FM loot are needed as our fleet don't have 500 player to help out.
While I appreciate your reaction; I would like to suggest a more sophisticated approach towards a bug report and not an off topic post like you are doing now.

Hope this makes sense.
