Odd texturing

I had re-downloaded the game and updated and once I got in, it was fine until I changed some graphic settings cause I stopped playing STO until I got a GTX 650 MSI card. I do see that there's "Blacked Out", but I also get textures that are, in a way, pulsing. Is there a way to stop the pulsing textures or is it the same as the Black-out workaround?

    Turn down/off bloom, most likely.

    I have Similar issues. When i have been gaming for more than a few mins up to a few hours my graphics in game and charector select sudenly start glaring white yellowy coulours and other objects do similar things. People in game look funny and the only way i can fix it is to reboot the game. It all started after the Dyson sphere content was released. I have tried some changes like turning things to auto but still to no avail. I would add a screen print but dont know if i can.

    frav41 - You clearly have (visible effects and variable delayed onset trigger) the post S8 missing textures and icons bug.

    blackgragon - Setting aside any FE blackout. You possibly have the same based on your full description. Pulsing / strobing between white+black or white+low res texture is another effect of the same bug. (note: you won't see examples in the thread I've referred frav41 to, as they are mainly screenshots and don't show dynamic change - but its effects are described).

    Hello all ! I have the same problem... The first time that this bug appeared is on the Season 7. This bug appeared on DX9 AND DX11. I'have sending tickets but not resolved that's why i wright here.
