Skills invalid

Successfully submitted ticket ID #2,436,172.

After s9 my toon now has message skills invalid on skills tab with a respec button beside it that DOES NOTHING except close the window. I heard about this bug being reported from tribble (but never experienced it myself - looks like it is in holodeck now too...

I cannot choose any reputation traits (ground or space) because of this - in the reputation window there is a message saying my skills are invalid. Also personal traits that I unlocked on this toon (Helmsman, Inspirational Leader) are missing from the personal trait list (although Hot Pursuit which was also purchased later and unlocked remains there).

It seems like the only way to unlock my traits is to spend a respec token - but these cost 500 ZEN and this is absurd that I have to pay this to fix the error?!

Please can someone help?

    Hi jackal,

    i have the same problem with my bajoran sci character. But i advise you not to buy a respec token, because even with one you still can't respec. So you have to wait until they will fix that bug and you are not the only one having that problem, there are alot of people with certain races having that problem, like bajorans, ferengi, gorn and letheans.

    Same here, Bajoran Tactical character. All of my other characters are fine.

    In a way i am glad I am not the only one (as although it means more people are frustrated like me, it also means they are more likely to look at and remedy the issue).

    For what its worth my toon is a kdf tac gorn. However, my other kdf tac gorn did not have the same problem, nor did any of my other toons (human eng, lib borg sci, ferengi tac, andorian tac, alien kdf sci, alien kdf eng, rom fed aligned eng reman kdf aligned tac). I guess one out of ten isnt bad.

    I have the same problem. Ticket sent few days ago, they replied to send screenshots, I did so and since then only silence coming. Its my main KDF engi lethean and I am unable to choose traits from reputation :mad:

    Same problem with my tactical gorn. No problem with other 2 toons.

    They haven't even posted this bug as a known issue. :mad:

    Already multiple threads on this. A dev has said they were able to reproduce the problem and are working on a fix for it.

    A link to that would be great.

    I received an email response today for my ticket about it and was basically told it was working as intended and I did things wrong by not clicking the respec button. Except of course, in the ticket, included in that same email, I told them I did click the respec button and that it didn't work. It was in the list of all of the things I had tried.

    The dev should inform them that it is not working as intended so they can stop insulting their customers.

    Thanks for that saeyn, i had seen the first one but that was sort of a "read your posts will pass it on" but the second one is more promising, hopefully a fix soon(ish)

    The asked me for screenshots after I told them the repec did not work.
