I guess I can admit when I'm wrong. Sorry, I'm a little frustrated about this subject so forgive me for my baseless statements. It just seemed to me that our technical troubles are small issues in the eyes of cryptic, which is only natural (that's just the way of things in the business world) so we have to take the backseat. I probably jumped to conclusion on the last bit.

I couldn't help getting ticked off. I didn't mean for this to be a personal attack on your person.

I think the low number of crash-reports could also be explained that a lot of people don't use tribble. Like me. I think people don't want to get spoiled to much and prefer to explore and experience everything when it is live on Holodeck.

Anyway, our former Persistent Headquarter is undergoing a clean up and the Pizza delivery is awaiting our orders.

Well wont by around this thread much now, as I bought a new PC on Monday and everything works ok even tribble. Yes now I do believe its our Old PC's the ones that are having trouble, don't believe that they are going to come out and tell us but I do think that's the problem.

And yes not a lot of people test tribble out. logged into tribble for about and hour or so 2 days ago and hardly saw anyone or it might be that I was in the wrong place.

Awwww well I here by disgracefully refuse the discharge. No but really with my old PC I had to run everything on low settings and now I have no problem running everything on high settings actually the graphics card on this thing is nice I can see more details now than with the older PC that was about 8 yrs old

Do we actually know what exactly caused the bug last time?

I heve asked a couple of times but never received an answer

I believe it was something to do with the graphics/graphics card or what not because they kept telling us to update the graphics drivers but most of u couldn't update them anymore

would be good to know if certain graphic processor is making trouble, so I won't buy that stuff again.

SO any bets on how long we are gonna be out of S9 this time? Back in Oct it was a week. S8 had us out a month.

My guess is at least 2 months.

No i do think it will get fix, they know about it the only reason they havent acted until now is that like they mentioned previously not a lot of people have reported the problem. That is why is is in their low priority, this will see some resolve next week once a whole bunch of people start reporting it just like we did when season 8.5 and 8 came out.

With you folks providing the crash numbers, we're able to see how many are being affected. The ones reported in this thread are low numbers, hence not many reporting them.

    Thanks again for your reports.
    Page 2, post 16

I went through and complied info on every crash number reported in this thread. Here are the results as of today:

    30191178 24 occurrences, 9 individuals
    30105953 14 occurrences, 4 individuals
    30106676 1 occurrence, 1 individual
    30136676 22 occurrences, 8 individuals
    30274756 8 occurrences, 3 individuals

That's how many people are being affected by the reported crashes and how often these crashes have occurred. I wasn't being flippant or dismissive. I was stating a fact. These are very small numbers, based upon the number of players we have on Tribble.

Wait a minute! Are you telling us that this forum is the only tool/reporting path available to the devs to see what is happening on the servers?

What is in the server logs?

Don't you have access to those?

Don't error's/bugs get reported by your own servers?

Are you really saying that Cryptic devs do not have any other view to what is happening on your own test servers other than us reporting errors in this forum?

Don't you have a debug mode in your code that you can monitor on Tribble and get a detailed report of all the errors?

Maybe it's time the devs write some debug code for the servers and then the dev team can get a daily report from not only the test serves but from the production servers as well!

Yep, me and fellow fleetmates who knew we'd be affected by this, informed fleet command of our expected absence and played as long as we could...

because we knew we would be a long time before the devs decided to fix it.

Deaftravis I think we should use your thread in the Holodeck bug reports as our new Mega thread for the duration.

After the Season 9 update, I go to the Earth Spacedock, or Starfleet Academy.

My game goes directly to the desktop and generates a Cryptique Window asking what I was doing.
