Missing Contacts from Starbases & Colony Invasion Bug

Also, here is an additional bug from Colony Invasion, if you are taking damage but still beam out a dying colonist or diplomat they will sometimes not count in the objectives. The last dying colonist may also be bugged, I beamed them out in a run before they died and they did not count. I used stealth and was way ahead of the group picking up the objectives.

    This has been happening frequently for me now.

    I rescued all 3 diplomats tonight, only 2 counted.
    I rescued 2/3 Diplomats last night, none of mine counted. I submitted a Ticket.

    For some reason the Diplomats in the Colony Invasion event do not have the interrupt option (the interaction bar does not reset) when your character takes any kind of damage, whether it's being actually shot or if your character has dots (damage over time) on it. Also, if you interact with the Diplomat and it or you move (before the bar fills) it doesn't count. All of these issues should have been addressed (imo) while in testing. Hopefully Cryptic will take care of this soon.

    Not a bug. You can't open a crate whil in combat, you can't use a console, you can't heal the colonists and, of course, you can't tag a diplomat. It makes perfect sense. Just wait until the RED ALERT clears and the diplomats can be tagged with success. Just like any other action.

    You are missing the point rex! i have read your misguided post several times in other forums about this bug, it is indeed a bug. it is a bug because if you are not in red alert and start beaming a diplomat out, then get fired at while in mid process, the diplomat continues to beam out and you do not get credit. This has been going on for almost 2 years and i have sent in dozens and dozens of bug reports about it. I have started sending in a separate bug report for each individual diplomat that i have lost credit for. So if we only get 1 out of 3 diplomats due to the bug, i send in two separate reports for it. It is just sickening to think that a major bug like this can be ignored for sooo very long.
