Anyway, I'm beginning to get tired with my Negh'var, and I wanna switch ships. If I get a Mogh, I'll upgrade to the fleet version, but should I get it?
I want a good turn rate, good hull and good offensive capabilities. I'll mainly be doing PvE, but I might do a tiny bit of PvP.
There's really two choices here if you want a fleet BC with those stats: the Mogh and the Tor'Kaht (a.k.a. the fleet version of the Vor'cha).
In comparison to the fleet Mogh, the Tor'Kaht has slightly higher base turn but a 4/4 weapons layout and is somewhat more restricted boff-wise (it's got an lt tac instead of an ens tac, but no native sci so the lt uni is basically locked into sci). The Mogh also has more hull points.

Something that doesn't show up on stats:
The handling is different. Torkaht's inertia makes it slide, which actually helps keep aim if you want dhc fit.
I prefer the Tor'kaht because of the boff layout with the mogh you end up having to gimp yourself unless your on the AtB bandwagon then you wont realize it until the next fad comes along.
Trophies for killing FEDS ahh those were the days.
The Mogh/ Avenger is one of the rare ships that can be set up with beam arrays or with dual heavy cannons and be a great performer in either configuration. It is also very resilient too. Outisde of the scimitar, with the right setups, it's got some of the best DPS in the game if that's your tilt.
It can be great in PvE and PvP when setup properly. I personally like a beam array setup for PvE, but it seems that you need a DHC/DBB setup for PvP to get the best of that ship in PvP.
If I wasn't having so much fun running a B'Rel lately, I'd probably be running the Mogh.
Either way, an A2B setup is probably what you need. Search the forums, there are plenty of builds out there that will help.
The Mogh, such a beautiful ship. I love it. I have both the Avenger and the Mogh and both areI IMHO the most flexible DPS ships out there. Either ship is a solid buy IMHO.

Unless you want to spam science abilities, the Mogh is a great ship. I won't tell you what to get since only you know what is fun to you, but few people seem to not like it.

A few is for sure. im definitely in the minority on this it seems. since day one of the release I have thought the Mogh was a poor ship EXCEPT for an Engineer Captain or anybody in on the AtB fad.
for me I end up gimping my tact unless I use the universal for a tact and that then gimps my engineer abilities.
but that's one of the few redeeming qualities of the game we can all set up the same ships differentely with differing results.

The Mogh is 100% awesome. Get the Mogh. Become one with the Mogh.
Agreed, though it's worth pointing out that the Mogh is slightly less of a revelation to KDF players than the Avenger is to Feds simply because the Tor'kaht exists. This is a good thing.
yeah, i will say it's worth getting, i have one myself... this may be the one of the last original looking KDF ship u will see on the C-store for the next 2 years... :O
The Mogh is an excellent ship. I find I like my Fleet Assault Cruiser a bit better, but she is both an excellent beam boat and a decent cannon boat. Some would say she is an excellent cannon boat.
The Mogh/Avenger are great ships. KDF having Mogh give them a nice Battle Cruiser with Lt Cmdr Tac station without having to spend 4 Fleet modules for a Tor'Khat per KDF char that might want one. I myself find Mogh more useful than Avenger though as Feds have other Tac cruisers with more hull and having DHCs on Avenger or the Mogh just dosen't work well for me.
At this time I am grinding dilithium to be used to buy a Mogh.
My KDF toon has been flying BoPs. They are fun, but I am starting to get a little irritated by the fact that I need to continuously disengage from combat to repair hull / regenerate shields. And cloaks are basic useless against the Borg.
I have a Mirror Qin that I bought on the Exchange that I have yet to unbox. Currently considering what type of load out it should have. I probably should have waited to buy it though. I bought for 800k EC, but it is now sold on the Exchange for 600k EC. Not a big deal though. I could make up the difference by playing the "Tour The Galaxy" mission once.

The Mirror Qin is rather good for a Raptor, but haven't touched mine ever since I got a Mogh. If you want a good mirror ship I recommend the Mirror Negh'var. Only issue with that one is last I checked was it was 3 Mil on the exchange, but excellent Sci Cruiser setup up like the the Kamarag/Ambassader Retrofits
I have a Mogh and and Avanger(Fleet) and a barely use either of them. Their is no meat to them, they are easy to master. I consider them the "Noob Tube" ships.it takes about 30 minuets to figure them out.
Unlike Federation escorts or Klingon raiders they don't keep you on your toes, And neither can Absorb punishment the Orion Flight Deck cruiser(Battle barge) or the Galaxy-X.
They have adaptability, but that's about it, if you like tinkering with a ship, differing your play stile around strengths and weaknesses, you may not like way the Mogh feels generic. not an escort but not really a cruiser.
I can see why they exist and I can see their appeal. If I have to grind the tau dewa patrol, or on KDF grind dil with Defense of the empire I will use the mogh, but I don't find them fun to fly.
I have a mogh and don't use it any more.(battlecruiser's are not my type of ship).
I bought it for showing support now I am starting to feel bad about that and probably
I won't buy another battlecruiser.
I still expect a kdf ship more closer to kumari stats in the form of a bigger b'rel (aka k'vort) able to do withstand a dogfight with a fleet defiant/fleet t'varo .
I am upset about that because I can't buy a good cloaking escort type ship to my kdf char.
I wrote about that in the last year a lot now I stopped doing it (this post is an exception)
I am using now a plesh raider but i don't like the fact that is faw-ed to death in PVP .
Probably I will try out a heghta after the new season will start, but I am afraid that the much awaited buff for raiders won't be enough when faced with faw cruiser's that moves as fast if not faster than an escort or sci ships that can hold you in place for minutes.
Fleet Hafef and Fleet T'varo are both wonderful ships, i have them on my romulan char, I don't understand why kdf can't have something similar , now that war will be over .
If you do much PVE use the mirror raptor ,it wil do Ok.For PVP I wouldn't use mirror raptor. (actually i did used it before Lor and I wasnt impressed even then and I deleted that ship from my kdf char)
If you want to PVP you can buy the mogh and put a lot of Faw spam on it but you will die a lot in PVP (Mogh even having a cloak dies much faster than avenger).

My orion eng can make a good 11k DPs with it, using AP dual cannons and turrets.
That's as much as my romulan tac does in his disruptor DHC scimitar.
Having a weapon powerlevel always so high with 4 tac consoles and 5 forward weapons is a big deal.
