Hi there,

I have a Fleet Avenger and several options to load out "her". Tested several things but haven't found the optimal loadout for me. Now it's your turn!
Please give me your optimal loadout out of my options - and tell me why you'ld choose this way.

Weapons are set. I stay at Phasers except someone gives me a really good reason to change the weapon type. I'm primaly looking for an optimal space set variant and suitable consoles. Yes, I want a plasmonic leech console but this seems to be unreachable for me.

Weapons front:
  • 4x Advanced Fleet Phaser Beam Array Mk XII [Dmg]x3 [CrtH]
  • 1x Advanced Fleet Photon Torpedo Launcher Mk XII [Dmg]x3 [CrtH]

Weapont after:
  • 1x Advanced Fleet Phaser Beam Array Mk XII [Dmg]x3 [CrtH]
  • 1x Advanced Fleet Phaser Beam Array Mk XII [Dmg]x3 [CrtD]
  • 1x Omni-Directional Antiproton Beam Array [Acc] [Dmg] [Arc]

Consoles to choose from or recommend something new:
Universal Consoles:
  • Console - Universal - Variable Auto-Targeting Armament
  • Console - Universal - Impulse Capacitance Cell
  • Console - Universal - Assimilated Module
  • Console - Universal - Proton Particle Stabilizer

Science Consoles (2x):
  • Console - Science - Shield Emitter Amplifier Mk XI

Engineering Consoles (3x)
  • Console - Engineering - Enhanced RCS Accelerator Mk XII [+HullHP]
  • 2x Console - Engineering - Enhanced Neutronium Alloy Mk X [+HullRep]

Tactical consoles:
  • 4x Console - Tactical - Vulnerability Exploiter Mk XII [+Pha]

Deflectors:
  • Omega Force Tachyon Deflector Array Mk XII
  • M.A.C.O. Graviton Deflector Array Mk XII
  • Assimilated Deflector Array Mk XI
  • Solanae Deflector Array Mk XII

Engines:
  • Omega Force Hyper-Impulse Engines Mk XII
  • M.A.C.O. Impulse Engines Mk XII
  • Assimilated Subtranswarp Engines Mk X (Could get the MK XII)
  • Solanae Hyper-Efficient Impulse Engines Mk XII

Warp Cores:
  • Elite Fleet Reinforced Warp Core Mk XII [SEP] [S->W] [SCap] [AMP] [SST]
  • Solanae Overcharged Warp Core Mk XII
  • Obelisk Subspace Rift Warp Core
  • Advanced Fleet Hyper-Charged Warp Core Mk XII [Coi] [W->E] [SCap] [SSR]

Shields:
  • Elite Fleet Adaptive Regenerative Shield Array Mk XII [Cap]x2 [ResB] [Adapt]
  • Omega Force Shield Array Mk XII
  • Adapted M.A.C.O. Covariant Shield Array Mk XII
  • M.A.C.O. Resilient Shield Array Mk XII
  • Solanae Resilient Shield Array Mk XII

What do I do with the ship? Mostly STF's, Crystalline Entity, Kerrat...Borg are my main opponents i think.
Dyson and Omega Reputation are at full level - Nukara and Romulan are close to Tier V.

I'm curious about your choices!

Do you want to use Aux2Batt + 3 Tech doffs or not?

I have one instance of Aux2Bat II

    Active Space:
3x uncommon "Recharge time on bridge officer abilities reduced"
1x Dlyrene "Increase DMG vs Borg"
1x Ten of Ten "Reduce Torp reload time"

This is my full Char: * Klick *

I don't have to use them - I'll put the best Doffs active for the set I'll fly......but seriously - i have no clue about Doffs for now.

There is a nice explaination about the Auxillary to Battery skill and how it works in the PvP threads, especially the PvP bootcamp stuff. I highly reccomend that you check it out.

Essentially, running 2 auxillary to battery skills as often as possible, coupled with 3 technicians in the active duty space roster can considerably reduce cooldowns of most abilities at the expense of aux power.
For a science heavy ship, it would weaken several abilities, especially some of the better science abilities. Running a Mogh or Avenger, you aren't likely to run much sicence at all, so that's not a big loss. The Avenger is a cruiser, so it's well worth looking at.

Personally I'd of rolled with cannons on the Avenger. That's how I rolled mine and she's a buzz saw. Hell thinking about dropping one single cannon for a dual heavy.

    Weapons right now I have:
    2 Voth anti-proton cannon
    2 Dual Heavy Voth Anti-proton
    180 Deg Quantum torpedo launcher

    1 Voth anti proton turret,
2 Mk XII phaser turrets(only till I can afford 5 mil EC to replace them).

Needless to say, even with this setup I just crush npcs like the MU Event. Just blowing through ships like no other and with the boff seating, I can do CRF or CSV along with tac team and High yield or torp spread so I can focus on killing one targets or multiple.

But hey to each their own.

My avenger Build is as follows:

    http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skillplanner/?build=pveavenger88_0

I am running aux to bat. My Boffs are 2 SRO tacs from Embassey 1 Nausican Pirate sci and 2 Efficient Saurians. Technicians Marion 3x Purple Technicians and 1 Warp Core Engineer. Since most of the PVE content leans heavily toward FAW, it just makes sense to run FAW with Beam Arrays. Get your key binds set up right and you should do just fine.

I would through in 1 or 2 torpedos and I would go with cannons but that is me.Not a bad build tho.

Change the 4xVulnerability EXPLOITERS to 2x Vulnerability LOCATORS and 2x Fleet Phaser consoles. You'll see a marked increase in DPS. Replace the Proton console with a Romulan Zero-Point console since you aren't using proton weapons, and use the Dyson reputation Gravimetric Photon torpedo.

I don't have access to fleet warp cores or spire tac consoles but in PvE my girl melts even the undine on tribble w/o breaking a sweat.

PS taking the proton console out for the ZP console is bad the bonus to the grav torp is great so I use both cheers
