Junior officer weekend - bugged for romulans

Hello,

you can not get the special duty officer with romulans.

The mission points to a part of NR Command where I should be able to find a Commander Rojal. There is no Commander Rojal there.


So the duty officer T'tress is not claimable by romulans.


I dont want to whine here, but the event is limited for the weekend, so this issue needs a quick fix.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    I was pointed to Jarol at Starfleet Academy, he/she is nowhere to be found there.. also, the quest uses two differend names in the describtion, Jarol and Rojal.. he/she propably used a Captain Rename Token from the C-Store.. I am just saying :P

    Romulans are meant to get someone from New Romulus? I had my Rommie pick up the exocomp from Starfleet Academy. She'll have to swing by the homeworld tonight.

    And in the case of Romulans alligned with Klingons. The mission still says they need to go to the starfleet academy... lol. So, step 1 - The mission is bugged and the contact doesnt exist.
    2 - As a Reman klingon alligned, i dont have access to the starfleet academy even if the mission says i need to go to there.

    So, if you play with a Romulan klingon alligned, 2 bugs. I wonder if cryptic will release something one day without any bug at all. That will be really epic.

    Yup at least six of us in my fleet have this too, for a devs reference there is also a thread in the rom section and a thread in the event section.

    Jarol = Starfleet Academy - will give the "Exocomp" Doff

    Rojal = supposed to be in the Command Center on New Romulus ... probably stuck in the floor or something ... is supposed to give you some Romulan Liberated Borg Doff ...

    Laroj = Klingon Academy - will give you a Reman named "Kazan"
    Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.

    We know, the bug is related to romulan players. The contact just doesnt exist. But still, romulan players will be told to go to starfleet academy...

    Cryptic didnt even bother to change the old scripts.. or what? lol.

    Simple solution. DON'T pick up the mission from New Romulus, go to your faction's (Fed or KDF) home base and get it there instead.

    It's 2 separate missions. Fede/KDF one and then the NPC on Romulus.
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    With this event ending tomorrow are they going to give the Romulans their Doff via in-game mail? If they are woundering about the fact that we actually get two doffs and are planning on letting this go then I say this. I would rather have my Romulan Doff than some FED drone.

    So many people looking for him, I think I explained it was bugged and to go to their ally academy to at least 200 people the past few days, lol. Hope they fix it, just holding onto the mission in case thy decide to run it next time.
