Exchange search resets after almost every purchase?

Does this happen for anyone else? Almost every time I double click on an item(mostly doffs for fleet projects) the list disappears and I have to search again, and every 3-4 searches there is a cooldown timer.

I thought WoW's forums had angry elitist snobs, but I never could have imagined the level STO forums has.:confused:

    Yeah. It happens to me just enough to be a PITA. I don't recall it being a problem until recently, either. Is this new, or am I doing something differently?

    It's new, but not recent.

    I know for certain that it didn't happen at the advent of LoR, but I can't recall at what point this started happening. Really annoying if you're buying many consumables.

    Yup, has been happening a *lot* for me too, of late. Very annoying when you need to make repeated purchases.

    There's quite a simple fix for this.

    Your list isn't gone or reset, it's only invisible (you still see the item count).

    Underneath your list you have an option to see all or only what you can use. Just switch it to one of these options and back.

    This is a giant PITA since, what, season 8? I hate it! It makes such a burden when rapidly buying a lot of items.

    yeah it started like the last patch or so ago we had cause before that it was fine for me lol.

    It started around the time of season 8 launch if I remember correctly. That or around the time of season 8.5 launch. I know before season 8 it worked fine.

    I have same bug from start season 8 and i reported it via ingame bug report but bug is still here and its very annoying, especialy with search cooldown after few searches.

    And i report too Losing selected search subcategory after clickthroughs to sell tab and back to buy. (if i search for space weapons and click to sell and back to buy than i have deflectors subcategory selected no space weapons).

    imo lets not hassle about things like that or we will get a "fix" again that kills off for months the options like 'prize per unit' and stuff

    besides it is works as intended imo, otherwise, w/o the search cool-downs some reeely funky dudes would kite the exchange :P

    not to mention constant data-base requests slowing the server down
