When you need so much cheese just to pugstomp you really will have no chance against teams in settings where there are rules against it, why not just try keeping the cheese in your inventory and only bringing it out if others are using it a lot?
I really hope you guys do practice and learn to not rely on cheese, last match I played against you guys a few days ago was pretty boring, I did honestly doze off a little at times as my recluse was never under any threat and it didn't need to do much cross healing either. But of course that was the pug in your groups fault not you guys.

Seriously guys? Its 2014, PVP in STO is nothing but a Spam fest and broken mechanics based on a pure Chinese Pay2win Grind2win MMO model with zero regard to sportsmanship PvP or anything alike. This is how all games end up under chinese wraps.
Why all the seriousness? Just accept it or move along and leave STO behind you, the remaining skill factor is in any case totally disappeared by now.
There will never be no more the awesome matches like TSI, Pandas, QeW, Lore, etc that pretty much got lost when Season 4/5+ hit the shelves.

Its just a video game. For everyone that gets upset over a game...i will say it again...its just a video game. Play this game for your enjoyment and no one else. I play this the way i do because i find it fun. For all of you that keep saying its bs or are complaining, ITS A VIDEO GAME. FFS if you take all this **** seriously you need to sort out your priorities. Im done with this arguement, if i see it again, i will not comment on it nor acknowledged its presence, i play this game for fun, thats it.
This is epic!!! My teacher always told me not to but Mobbing is way too fun! Especially when grown men get into a tantrum do to it! Priceless ! Hilarious! I LOVE IT! Miau! Piu piu piu!:D

Haha you crack me up MT, more and more you remind me of an embittered granny yelling at people walking on the street from her balcony
Skills I tell ya Skills haha, "skillfull" FAW phaser spam (where there was no proc immunity), kdf fleets scoring one kill then staying in cloak the whole match, vapers with broken "perfect cloak" boffs, subnuke doff spam... you know, schkills.
I wasn't playing the game from the very beginning, but I believe I've been here long enough now, don't sugarcoat the old times too much, I remember much lameness, lack of sportsmanship, stuck-upness and QQ back then.
Season 5, 6, 7+, a lot of awesome matches happened there and awesome matches are still happening.
On one thing you are right though. We should all take the game for what it is, and not for what we would like it to be, relax and have fun guys. Acceptance.
Regarding Vice Squad, yeah I wished Hanni would just ignore their trolling, oh well. At least it spices up things I suppose.
Vice Squad has actually a lot of potential. But there are simply not there yet. And I believe most VC members understand this. We would like to help you out, if it wasnt for the trolling.
At this point, IC runs mostly whatever. Goofy setups void of optimization, sometimes no nukes, no heals and $hit like that. Some IC PvP'ers have become pretty experienced and have seen a lot of $hit over the years, and it is actually the experience that makes them hard to beat and not really their totally mathed out team setups. Serious mode is reserved for privates. Having said that, no one is unbeatable. No one. And there will be matches where IC will get pwnd badly. A good loss can be more gratifiying than an easy victory.
"Good" performance against pugs or other newly formed fleets / premades have little or no meaning at all, and I understand that it can be tough not to get carried away sometimes. Over the times I've seen a lot of fleets falling into that trap. But you gotta trust me on this, you are at the beginning of your journey and not at the end of it.
In order to get better, I always looked out for the meanest, strongest, most bad-a$$ fleets and players, and constantly threw myself at them, banged my head on concrete walls so speak, looking for cracks, never shied away, never looked for excuses, couldn't care less if I lost. A loss can give you unbelievably much information, it shows where and what to improve, provided one can soberly and objectivly analyze one owns shortcomings.
Shying away from challenges is not good, claming greatness but not being able to produce, well just stomping your feet in the forums won't help. No disrespect, you guys have potential, but you are not there yet. Stay objective, analytical, practise a lot and one day you'll get there.

If you say we are shying away from a challenge cause we wont fight you when we have 3 people on that pvp while you guys have your tourny premade ready...then yeah sure we do.
And we never field tourny teams in the queues. I have said this before ITS A VIDEO GAME. Everyone plays what they want so that they have fun.
To think we arnt there yet is very elitist of you. Thinking that we dont measure up to you so we "arnt there yet"...thats the mentality that started the trolling. That and the constant complaining from a certain individual.
The pvp community is small enough and getting smaller. Enough of this childish competition on a video game. A lot of casual players get turned off of pvp because of the ****ty attitude of the community. If it means that much to you try taking a break and focusing on something worthwhile...not a star trek video game

No one is unbeatable. Everybody looses at some point, no matter what fleet it is. I've never had much problems with loosing, on the contrary, a loss may indicate that there is something to improve, it leads to evolution. The match you are referring it led us to rethink our strategy and finetune our tactics. And since I am a member of both fleets involved in the match, I even more fail to see your point, if there is even one to begin with...

Believe me, I do not want to sound elitist or condescending, however your attitudes is making that a nigh-impossible task.
Of course this is a computer game, nobody is disputing that. It's also PVP what we do, and PVP attracts a lot of smack talk, bragging and crying, so no suprises there.
Vice Squad is certainly no stranger with regards to bragging, in-game and on this forum. I mean, if certain members of yours have a hard time typing posts without mentioning how good of a player he is / they are, well that carries some entertainment value I gotta admit. Now, would that not qualify as some form elitist attitude as well?
If someone becomes good at something, even if it just a computer game, that someone may at one point display some pride or even a bit arrogance. Show me a good PvP'er, and you've most likely shown me an arrogant one. It just comes with the package. Human nature. Some are better at hiding it, some not even try.
Of course there are people in PVP who like trolling much, and some guys in your fleet certainly mastered the art of trolling very well, I am not complaining, however some snarky comments aimed at your fleet here and there shouldn't come as a big surprise then.
So nothing's new here.
What's also not new are excuses. You guys are not the first ones making excuses and you won't be last ones. Heck, nobody is freed from this sweet little sin, every-f'ing-body is making excuses. But understand, the thing about excuses is, well...
They don't work. They just don't.
For instance, did you know, that EVERYTIME I DIE I WAS TYPING!!!!! I SWEAR!!!! Don't you dare laugh at me you elitist pricks!
What, you don't believe me?! Bummer. Because I sure do believe you.
I for instance believe you totally when you are saying you have no 5-men team available, ESPECIALLY when Vice Squad has 5-men teams roaming the queues for hours.
But seriously now, excuses don't work any better after the tenth, fifteenth time. At one point you guys have to walk the walk, and not only talk the talk.
And so called "tournament teams".... um... yeah, but no... When we hit the queues, a typcial conversation on IC TS goes like this:
"Oh cool it's a premade."
"Who is it?"
"Vice Squad."
"Ok, break the extends David."
"I don't have shockwaves. I wanna try out Feedback Pulse. Oh and Tachyon Beam, I can give you that."
"..."
"Hanni, vape someone then."
"Oh, I am on my Sci Healer."
"Ok cool. Zelda, bitte ein Sub auf mein Ziel."
"Wat."
"Oh um nuke my target please."
"I'm engineer."
"TRIBBLE they nuked my alpha! How the hell can they see me?!"
"Dude, you're on a JHAS."
"Ah."
"Mira, heals please."
"He is not on our team. He said he was gonna watch pron movie or something"
"Then Snog, heals please."
"Um, he is on Diablo 3 at the moment."
"Can you give me a Sci Team then?"
"In a minute, wait I should have it somewhere, after I fix my tray I can give you a Sci Team."
Im not saying we dont field 5 man teams, im saying you all claim we make excuses not to fight, but every time (hes asked3 times) hannibal has asked for a private match, we have had only 3 people on, and he claims we are scared...We have about 7 people that pvp regularly in our fleet from timezones around the world. And with other games coming out recently (ESO Beta, Titanfall) there are even less people on. Which is why ive taken up residence in kerrat. Especially when mini is there muahahaha
Everyone with any skill in pvp is arrogant, but there is a line between arrogance and elitist. Someone saying that another group of people isnt as good and basically doesnt rate to be called skilled pvpers (not said in this thread but said in opvp) is elitist.
Sure have some pride in being good at this game, but dont take everything to seriously. Think why do people troll...to get a reaction out of someone. If you're being trolled, don't give them the pleasure of a response. Or if you have thick skin and dont let stupid things bother you, especially in a game, troll them back its simple and fun.

Yeah, we do have 5 man teams for hours, but it's usually between 8PM-12AM US ET, and it's just whomever is available at the moment, and anyone in the fleet can join in. The rest of the day, you'll see just 2 or at the max 3 random fleet mates getting into the queues.
I guess we must have hurt your feelings somehow, now did we?

"Then Snog, heals please."
"Um, he is on Diablo 3 at the moment."

Now how bout we get this thread back on topic.

I wasn't included because I do everything perfectly!
BTW, your snooping is very annoying. If you spot me in Ker'rat pretend you don't see me plz. My fragile ego cannot take the dying.
Diablo 3 > Elder Scrolls Online.
If I wanted to play Elder Scrolls, I'd fire up my copies of Skyrim, Morrowind, Oblivion. :P

Yeah, we do have 5 man teams for hours, but it's usually between 8PM-12AM US ET, and it's just whomever is available at the moment, and anyone in the fleet can join in. The rest of the day, you'll see just 2 or at the max 3 random fleet mates getting into the queues.
haha for sure
roger gtx9000...^^
