On the ground mission portion of this episode, Preemptive Strike, titled "Behind Enemy Lines," there's a very large and oddly placed rock not too far into the quest's path. It is very noticeable, as a group of enemies partially spawns inside of it, and they remain unkillable while shooting at the player through the rock.
This gigantic rock is also placed on top of a respawn point, so if the player dies at any point for the remainder of the ground mission, they RESPAWN INSIDE OF THE GIGANTIC ROCK, unable to escape even using "/stuck".
This apparently has happened to everyone who has played this mission and tested this bug, though I would call it a major level design flaw. Naturally, I assume the rock was added at some point later on in the game's life cycle as an artistic choice, albeit without being properly tested.
I would include screenshots, but apparently the Arcgames launcher does not support this function for STO at present. However, the rock is really really hard to miss, and is encountered within the first 10-15 minutes of the episode.
Please fix this as soon as possible, the repeatable quest reward is one of the few places to get a good unique ground shield at level cap without needing to advance very far into the Episodic content. Thank you for your time.
The best way to fix that until they finally decide to properly fix it, in any mission, is to set your Boffs on passive mode and walk away, the stuck NPC will eventually free themself to shoot you.

Experimented this bug not so far ago.
Anyways, the /stuck command never works. That for a start.
And i never said anything about this, cuz i reached a point, in where everything we say or every bug we post will be just a waste of time, since cryptic will do nothing to fix it.

+1 on the above. Also experimented this and haven't tried to replay the episode since then, since I rather went ahead with other story content, than trying to deal with a buggy episode. Also, same as you, failed to report it since it's such a waste of time considering that those reports fall on deaf ears at Cryptic.
I guess the fastest solution i can propose is that you avoid dying during your run so you don't have to re-spawn at such ****ty place.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone

stuck command does work if you know how to use it and when

and yet both of you are here on the forums talking about it, the best place to report bugs are here IMHO so instead of sending a ingame bug report why not try this as you seem to notice other people are doing. Also i played "Saturdays Child" only a few weeks ago and found no such rock in the way, but that does not mean it does not show up,
and instead of trying to use Arcs ingame set up you could have just hit Printscreen on your keyboard and then from there put it at a 3rd party site and then posted the SS for the devs to see.

I would, if not for the bizarre problem I get with ingame brightness, thanks to Windows 7 + a Radeon 4200 series graphics card that makes it to where adjusting brightness in game doesn't do anything in game. Of course, when I Alt-Tab out, everything else is brighter, and all screenshots are showing up darker than they really are.
This is a whole other bug/rant in of itself, but it boils down to "A video game in 2014 should have a built-in screenshot function/folder." To the rest of you saying "Cryptic will never fix this" and "this is pointless", that attitude and lack of reports gives them less data to work with. I can very easily imagine them going after bugs once Season 9 is launched, and possibly even including some fixes in the update.

Sorry, the stuck command almost NEVER works. I used it tons of times, without result, i used it a lot of times in Defera, since i got stucked a lot of times trying to reach artifacts or watever. I got stucked in exploration maps, needed to drop the mission cuz the /stuck command was useless. And i could go on. The only thing that command does is to move you about 0,0000001 inch away. So in almost all the cases it will never work. And i tried it in a lot of different situations.
And i agree about the screenshot, its always useful, but honestly, in my case im so tired of reporting bugs that will never be fixed that it is a waste of time to even bother to make some screens. The only purpose of posting the issue is for people to know about the problem, because right now, i dont think cryptic will move a muscle to fix something like this (they dont move a muscle to solve important bugs, so this?... loool.).
