Far better, I suppose, than believing that somehow filling one's inventory with vendor trash (lockboxes) will do anything other than fill one's inventory with vendor trash. But truly, good luck with overhauling the game's economy by collecting garbage.
Interesting. I quit collecting. Sold everything in the bank. Now my characters all have no weapons, no armor, and nothing in the bank. All liquid.
It's definitely a different game to play, that's for sure, and certainly provokes the creative noodle a bit more than the brute force warfare.
And has absolutely shed light on the United States 'war on terror'. You don't realize how programmed your warfare mentality is programmed until you take a step back and look at it from a different non warfare oriented angle. Now I find myself asking: How could I NOT have known I was being manipulated, with is so obvious?
I didn't see it when I was in it.
Now, It's actually providing fodder for wanting to entice companies to look at the real world interactions for inspiration for role playing gaming. After all, Sims has done phenomenally well with women, maybe we could see more women in games like this and more variety for offerings if we simply took the time to understand how women think.
You could say I've gone to extraordinary efforts to achieve that. It's frightening.
Life's a choose your own adventure. And 'fiction' is nothing more than a choice of realities you can indulge in and make your own much like McDonald's is a choice of meals.
To you, there was no cat. To me, it's a thought experiment, and the cat definitely existed. And got a little ticked off at people like you saying he doesn't exist and if he does then he's probably dead!
And with that, I am done. It is impossible to reason with one who does not, apparently, exist in the same reality as the rest of us.
Enjoy your Happy Meal.

So basically we're dealing with a Mythbuster here?
In my opinion, he's someone who may not quite understand the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, nor is capable of grasping game theory models or consider that the characters we play in video games may be some form of commanded drones operating without choice, and our knee jerk indoctrinated response is to paint those who defy a standard linear model they've been programmed with by labeling them insane, calling them names, and insinuating they are the irrational ones, not consider for one moment that it's the other way around....
Or maybe this is just programmed response, period. and I'm debating with myself ;-)

Sure there was- a Thundercat! I hear they opened a great school, too.

But it is predicated on imagination!

I'm picturing it with some pinstripe formal wear. And maybe a pimp hat.
