How do i Add pictures

ok how do I add a picture of my avatar or bridge officer or duty officer in edit your avatar do you take a screen shot and make it just show your face and achievements?

also how do you get a picture and some words under your post after you write it and a different picture?

do you have to rewrite it every time you post something or does it automatically show up and if it does auto show up how do you add it?

could someone answer by step by step please

Are you asking about the Duty Officer Like signatures you see all over the place?

ill give it a shot to try and explain this.

First) my pic as an avatar. I took a screen shot cropped it down, then go to where it says edit avatar Look for the option to use a custom avatar then load it there.

Second) The signature pic is loaded the same way, but in a different area. Go to user CP
http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/usercp.php then click on edit signature.

You can have up to 5 lines of text, and the pic. Find one you like download it if its on the web then load it up there.

You do not have to rewrite it at all unless you choose to. Once its saved all you do is write your post and click reply. Nothing extra it shows up everytime.

Well to make it, you need either of the templates (there are two major ones used).

Here is mine:

We each made our own, but we did a great deal of corporation on them both... A great person to spare with.

Use the guide here http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=380341 to make a proper screenshot of your head.

You can use the pixlr editor to alter it as you need to: http://pixlr.com/editor/ (limited compatibility), Photoshop or The Gimp (the latter is freeware... Google Gimp).

EDIT: I AM working on the Romulan variant, and with several upgrades making the new one superior to the one I have there, and when I am done, you will only need a browser to complete it.
