Why do I need 1600 Lobi to complete a Hirogen character? If I am to complete the feel of a Hirogen character I need to accumilate 1600 Lobi Crystals and get the droped ship!
Lobi Ship 800 Lobi...got it normal
Lobi Ship Set 200 ea...ok keeping in price with the others (600 Lobi)
Armor 200 Lobi....huh?
For 150 and mission rewards I get a complete SET of ground gear so why is this things so much? It takes away from a set bonus to use it yet costs more than an entire set?
Please fix this price to 100 Lobi or make it part of a set at 250 for the entire set.
Hey, they have to make $$$ somehow. I really need the 2 part bonus for one of my captains. I hope they do one of those episode reruns for 500 lobi so I can get them.
armour is both a costume and physical armour made up of multiple pieces for customization. so 200 is about the going price.
the ground sets (i assume you mean the jem'hadar one) are the free items we get in game as a select reward to make missions attractive and to encourage replay. the 150 lobi does not buy it outright, it just makes it a little better.
there are no free hirogen items to upgrade to you have to buy the whole thing from scratch.
...talking to players is like being a mall Santa. Everyone immediately wants to tell you all of the things they want, and you are absolutely powerless to deliver 99% of them.

You've been around long enough to know how this works. The price is fair. It's some unique lobi stuff and it all cost roughly the same based on what you're getting similar to other lobi items.

I would have thought it would have been along the same pricing as the jemhadar set which upgrade is 150 lobi. shame it's not a full hirogen set for 150 lobi aswell.
Ah, Lobi. Take the insideous lock box gambling and make it MOAR of a shameless, mercenary cash grab. The Grand Nagus thanks you all for your patronage.
There is absolutely no need to spend 1600 Lobi on these items only 600 Lobi for the Set. It will be a lot cheaper to sell keys on the exchange to get the Ship and uniform than to open enough lockboxes to get 1000 Lobi.
Welll, 1600 lobi averages to about $400.00 USD. Many computers dont cost that much brand new.. But thats what your going to pay for a game piece you cant even keep??Man! Have we become gullable.

While I agree with your sentiment, if you have the Lobi - due to buying them trying to get other things - you might as well spend them on something you want. There is not much point in just letting them accumulate.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Cost and percieved value are incredibly subjective, depending on your income, lifestyle and interests. $300 may be a lot for you, but not for others; there are a lot of people who would pay that for a show, concert or a meal, which are equally intangible.
dahminus: I managed to get the mobius/wells kit with set and secret black skin.
What black skin? I also own the Wells and the Moebius.
I can use the Moebius Skin on the Wells and vice versa,
but a secret black skin? Do I need the Aeon-Shuttle for that?
Please tell me....

+1 would also like to know. I'm assuming you need the Wells and the Moebius, as well as the Temporal Warfare set...
EDIT: You need the Wells, the Moebius, and the Aeon timeshuttle to get the black skin.

I don't have any problem with the cost of the Hirogen items. Also, once you purchase one set of armor, the Hirogen armor costume is unlocked in the tailor. So you can hook all your Boffs up with the same look at no extra cost.
I picked one toon, alien race, to go all out Hirogen. My only beef is that there is no proper Hirogen skin or whatever. There's the head and the nose bit, but not the skin. I searched a bit and it appears to be in the game, or was, but not available to the players.

It includes a costume too, you know. Most Costumes are 150-200 lobi in and of themselves. This is an armour and an outfit.
Just lol...

It isn't impossible...just pluck away at it and you will get it in about a month. unless you know the tricks(not exploits) of getting masses of ec

You can't "fix" something that ain't broke.
That's why.

alien characters have the head parts as options for a long time and now you can buy their armor.

Is it just the skin of the Aeon-Shuttle then, or an additional fourth skin?
I know that one(from the Aeon-Shuttle):
