Unsold Exchange Items MISSING

I have been receiving mail stating that my exchange items are unsold but when visiting a NPC(at starfleet), as instructed by players in a chat channel...to get these back the items are not there, so I am wondering if I am doing the right thing.

Also the envelope in top right of my screen flashes green unless I log out and then back in and when I do that it becomes empty. :confused:

    In order to get the items back, you need to visit a mail terminal at a starbase (found in the Bank room at Earth Spacedock). It gives you the option to "Take items."
    You're right. The work here is very important.

    No, there are actually mails arriving in the mailbox that say your sale has expired, but there are no attached items. I've had a couple of them too. I'm not cmpletely sure what's gone missing.

    As sad before you have to go to a mail box at a starbase to receive the items it wont show up as an attached item because you can not claim it from your minimap button

    A while ago, the Exchange was sending out two e-mails for each returned item - one with the item attached, and the other without.

    This was fixed, but if you haven't played in a while is it possible you've got some leftover duplicate messages?

    No, they are recent messages. I kept a paper list of current listings on each of my characters and will see what's missing. Though I'm beginning to believe the error isn't the item not being returned, but a deleted mail re-appearing. I'll report back if I recieve another.
