    Why would they be in a rush to put out the cstore version? As soon as it hits, everyone's just gonna complain about them and how weak they are. I think cryptic should make you wait a year or so.

    Whoever thinks these are going to be weak in the 10 console version is completely deluded.

    They'll be great until they get hit by the inevitable nerfbat.

    Also, you've got the entire rest of the month before you'll even get a sniff of the C-Store versions. They're unlikely to be released while the event is still available.

    In the mean time, you've got the Loadouts feature and the upcoming new ship skins. That should be more than enough to keep you entertained for another two weeks.

    I would also like to give Cryptic $50 for a triple pack.

    It's a shame Dark Souls 2 comes out in March... and this thing comes out at the end of February...

    just saying.

    I think most people that were willing to grind the event already have been doing it. The rest of us aren't interested in grinding for a ship with free ship stats but we may be willing to pay for the premium version so why not release it now and make money.

    I wonder what the people who are not getting the free one will say when they realize that they need the secondary deflector and the warp/singularity cores from the free one to complete the c-store version?

    If you gave them $50 for a three pack you wouldn't be able to use two of the ships, their faction specific so you jusy wasted $25 and got one for free :P
    Seems more likely that they will release consoles in the lobi store and, the upgraded versions of the ship in there as well. OR, they will put them up for sale as 2500 zen as fed only, KDF only, Rom only and put the consoles in the lobi store.

    They already said there would be 3 3 packs with consoles on the ships.

    Depends on how important people think this is.

    Yes thats the kicker but in order to complete that set you need the secondary deflector, which is only available on the free version. thats the rub.

    If this happens I suspect the ship will be a bust and won't sell. I sure won't buy it if I can't complete the set just be rerunning the Tuvok mission and getting whatever parts are missing from the z-store version. I and many other players are at the point in this game where I have so many ships and so many end game sci ships that I can get away with being dismissive of new stuff if it takes too much effort. All 3 variants look cool and may be alright ships but I already have a Vesta 3 pack, Timeship, Fleet Nebula, and Fleet Recon Sci so won't do too much effort for another sci ship.

    Why? Once the science ships all get secondary deflectors, it'll be useless... not like it was that good to begin with. I have better luck with my vesta beam boat option than this. Why would I throw money at something that's not even worth it?
