I know nothing of this, and can't find anything on the main page or GNN.

You using STO launcher, ARC, or Steam?

EDIT: Nevermind, yes it's for new signups. Answer in post below.

This torpedo is blue mk2 quantum torpedo, so it's almost useless especially for romulans.

It's intended as a booster for brand-new players. The Mk II quantum torp is still superior to the bog-standard photon torpedo included with the base Miranda.

If it's the same as the Quantum you get from the Steam Starter (Mk II Acc+DMG), that thing can last a new player a good while, at least 'til level 20 or so. Okay, that may not exactly be a long while, but it is nice to have at least one piece of kit that doesn't have to be swapped out right away.

    1. the weapon is for new players who sign up
    2. It's available in the c-store in "items", as "Bonus Quantum Torpedo", should say available next to it. You claim it there.

I had this on my first character I started in July of last year. However, I never got it on any other characters I had, and it also was character bind on starting that character.

I remember this used to work prior to the change to ARC. But now when you go to the page you get forwarded to the ARC site. Is there another method to claiming this code or is it fubar until somebody at Perfect World updates the site page to correct this issue?

This was only a crapy MK II blue torp that you get about one mission worth of use out of.

The least it could of done was level with you.
