subscribing to gold

Hello all, I'm pretty new to STO and liked the game enough to subscribe to a gold subscription. But I run into the problem that the secure Cryptic page requires me to enter a security code which is sent to my email. After receiving this code I try to put in the code. The website gives me an error, about the code being invalid. I've tried it 3 times before giving up and posting here for help. Anyone who can help me with this problem?

    Did you copy/paste? It doesn't like copy/paste sometimes. At least, that's what I remember.

    it also doesn't like you closing the page to get the code then coming back as it usually generates a new code each time :)
