Maco uniforms borked for Females *team is investigating*

As of today.

My male Fed toon wearing Maco mk12 armor, showing the visuals on it, not using the tailor option but just showing the visuals for wearing the armor itself, its fine on my male toon.

Both of my female Fed toons are broken with it. One wearing Maco mk12, shows everything of the uniform EXCEPT the top, shoulder pads, and chest piece. The other wearing Adapted Maco mk12, shows ONLY the helmet and nothing else.

    Is no one else having this issue ?

    I don't have the armor in question to check, but something changed with female boff bodies, as evidenced by the numerous broken outfits, as shown in the following thread.

    i bet they are.

    And its not only the female Boff Bodys.
    Its the Player Charakters too. i just saw a female Charakter with Maco Pants/Boots and a Uniform Piece + Tac Kit on the ESD.
    Just like the TE said ... FIX IT CRYPTIC! -.-

    ok after some more forum browsing i found a Thread about missing "Khan Hairstyle"

    Its german.
    He says. He had the Khan Hairstyle yesterday BEFORE the patch and lost it AFTER the patch. Female Toon.
    Can someone confirm this and/or countercheck it with men? ^^
    I don't have the Khan outfit and i don't plan to install the crappy arc Stuff.

    Looks like there is even more broken with females ....

    Looks like you're using the default armor costume versus actually defining one in the tailor. Disable displaying the armor and see if it works right, cuz I just checked my female main toon and everything's fine, costume-wise.

    EDIT: Yeah, it's the armors. Checked my boffs, the ones wearing maco/adapted maco are bugged, voth armor is fine tho.

    I was also getting this this morning with the new EV suit, this exact thing where the torso doesnt show up

    Honestly, female outfits in general are screwed up. I can't wear most of my shirt uniforms because my toon's butt clips through it whenever she run, not to mention the combadges and rank pips clipping in to her TRIBBLE.

    Female Maco item-based costumes have acted strangely for a really long time. If I remember right (and this was over a year ago now so I might not) this was the result of turning on the item costume for Adapted MACO while wearing a tailor Omega Force costume. It's possible that I've gotten that backwards though and that this is the Omega Force armor costume forced over a tailor Adapted MACO - I actually have no idea which it was.

    Something has gone wrong with the tailor. Again. Looks to me that certain armour items are being interfered with by certain costume options.

    Fig 1. - Female Andorian Rebel Bridge Officer, using Mk XII Omega Armor. Unmodified outfit (obviously).

    Fig 2. - Female Klingon Bridge Officer, using Mk XII Honor Guard Armour, wearing KDF Academy/Bortasqu' uniform.

    Seems to be mainly to do with chest pieces.
    You're just a machine. And machines can be broken.

    There is a problem with all the Omega Reputation armors and female characters. I'm hoping there will be a fix soon, but I can't promise anything.

    I'm having a similar issue. The female mid-ankle panels and pockets pants have mysteriously disappeared. I'm not the only one with this problem.

    I've also noticed that, on one of my Romulan characters with the Romulan civilian skirt, the EV suit visuals are messed up (the suit only appears from the waist up). I don't know if that's related, or not, but there you go.

    Thank you, CrypticFrost. The previews for outfits using these pants are also not showing up when I talk to the tailor. It just shows an empty box. The character does appear to the side after I click on the box, though.

    Yeah bad thing is this problem has existed within KDF for so long that now its migrating to the fed side... bad bad news lol.

    In another Female omega rep armor issue, my kdf female Orion's Honor Guard (type 1 tailor option) belt is displaying incorrectly.


    The decorative 'buckle' option is clipping into her body so far that it is actually beneath the normal belt plate it should attach to. Only the edges are visible around the buckle area.

    Also, the groin flap between the two waist flaps doesn't appear.

    you mean 'good news'. great news in fact. they will probably start chasing down whatever causes these problems now.

    Would there be any way for the arm patch from the maco uniform to be available in the regular uniforms and bridge officer uniforms?

    Another tailor bug, since the update 8.5. Hair "Kahn2" is gone, even when you log into the game through ARC.
    OK, if I have to stay here for a while, your cieling ... looks idious.:D

    There is a minor problem in the Tailor since the 8.5 update. Not something "game-breaking", just a bit annoying.

    Apparently something was done to the female bodies for textures, as the "spen" which previously faded into the body from the neck now has a hard line. Guess a picture is worth a thousand words here:

    The image on the left is the new version of the body. The picture on the right is the old version.

    I just prefer the way the "spen" fades into the body as previous to 8.5.

    Like I said, not a major problem, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. While you're fixing the problems with armor and other tailor bugs, maybe you can take a look at this too?

    This may be related to the KDF costume bug as well:

    I have MkXII Honour Guard gear on my Tac Klingon. Since the costume bug hit I can no longer change outfits, so when I want her to look posh I activate the KHG armour visuals. Before Season 8.5 this worked fine, but yesterday all that happened was a helmet appeared and her boots changed to the KHG ones. The rest of the armour was missing, and yes I have completed the costume project.

    Does this include the long-long standing Honor Guard XII outfit unlock for female characters that doesn't give us all our parts? I've been wondering if we'll ever see a resolution to that, I don't even think post-Omega Reputation players even realize they're missing outfit parts >_<

    That said, thanks for looking into all this!
