8.5: Doff pictures showing badge icons instead of faces *under investigation*

Where did the doff's pictures go? why did you replace them with delta, raptor, and tristar?
now I cant tell which doff I am assigning yes I know I can see the picture under more info but I use the picture to tell which doff is which I don't want to remember their names GIVE ME BACK MY DOFF PICTURES!!!

    This occurred right after the 8.5 Season patch, so no doubt related to that.

    When assigning Duty Officers to an Assignment, instead of showing their profile picture, now all we see are the generic badge icons.

    I've had this confirmed by no less than 10 other people playing as well, so I know it's not just me.

    I'm hoping this is only a bug. If it's an intentional change, I'd prefer there were an option to change it back. I'm not liking the absence of Doff photos at all.

    Totally a bug. It's like we lost access to the thumbnails of the portraits. Weird.

    It was posted as a known issue in the latest release notes.

    Well, it wasn't a known issue before the latest patch. :)

    I don't like how the DOFFs appear in the mission selector now. I find it harder to find the DOFF I am looking for. Can you turn the portraits back on? I hope that's an option you can enable!

    It is a bug that is being investigated, hopefully it will be fixed in the next patch.

    It's a bug. Cryptic hopes to have it fixed by the next season.

    So since the anniversary event began, I can't see the faces of my DOFFs in the roster. I can see their faces if I click on them to get their details, and I can see the faces when I select them for the mission (on the right as they fill the mission slots)... But in the roster all I get are arrowheads.

    Is this a bug or did I accidentally change a setting somewhere?

    It's a bug and it is being investigated, hopefully it will be sorted in next patch
