Nice in theory bit in practice is another. For someone not paying attention yes you will prob get them. But any ganker worth their weight is not going to be in 10k with you for nor than a second one you pop the feedback pulse. Not saying a build like that is going to pop easy but your lack of dps would only be a threat to squishy or low level players (ie your not invulnerable).
Not to mention most of my chars can subnuke off said annoyance.
Its not the escort tac you need to watch out for, its the escort sci.
Even on an escort tac, if all else fails id zip off a few dozen KM, swap in an RSP, come back and just alpha rsp right into the damn feedback pulse and not give a damn, then GDF ram them to finish them, for the pure hilarity.

wait, integration circuit is that romulan lockbox device right? man my engineer/escort just shrugs that off. i dont understand why people have so much trouble with it.
i'm convinced that the real issue with these builds is not that "oh they're unbeatable" its that they're unbeatable, with a TACTICAL. i've heard from several of these people that they dont even have an engineer/science.
as an engineer primarily (3 engies, 2 tacticals, 1 science) i find that the best counter characters is my engineer or science. built right i can counter 99% of the builds in this game. just means all those tactical characters out there need to figure out some team work for once and tag team with a debuff ship to circumvent well thought out builds.
a good PVP game should be a tactics war. more thought put into something the more powerful it is. that's true of most combat, its only logical STO is the same.

did you just say..... you've been battling in kerrat for the past 3 years? ...... waaaaay back in the early days of kerrat, you know before F2P, i started farming kerrat as a daily pass time, and did so as a daily even up until season 7 when i started doing more PVE with my fleet to get them up to par.....
during that time i never heard of you. there's only two people that have been able to consistently beat me. a bugship, and the universe' best BOP. (wont use names as i dont know if that's allowed... dun think it is.) back in the day i used to fly around in kerrat without shields as a dare to other ships to engage me, and i rarely lost. i can remember in detail each fight i lost in. i'd remember you if you were one of the good ones. sorry, your not.

Continuing in the spirit of the thread, there have been times I fired a gravimetric torp spread at a running cloaker, who cloaks and then gets knocked right out again.
There has also been once or twice when I discovered an FBP/RSP user. All energy, so what could I do? Answer: Tractor and then drop a bunch of Voth spatial charges on him XD. Those things absolutely blow stuff apart if you can get them to hit. And some FBP users are a little overconfident, so they don't care about the tractor.....
Come to think of it, there was the time I used those on a sphere, followed by a singularity explosion popping into existence from the AOE damage
I been taking a break for a few weeks but I normally use a sci captain in a B'rel with several sci boffs and consoles I switch out as needed.
I use Cmdr and Lt Cmdr sci boffs with stuff like CPB, GW, SS3, VM, and my favorite SS3. I normally have SS doff, VM doffs and GW doff. most tac and eng consoles are universals, AMS, SIC, AA, and others.
Weapons can just be stuff that slow or otherwise proc them, I use mostly chronitons, web mines, tractor mines, plasma, harghpeng.
Just fly about and watch teams of3 or 4 alpha strikers take run after run on me often at the same time while i just fly about making greased up deaf guy jokes.

Either fly around cloaked with a quantum set up waiting for a teammate to strip someones shields, alpha, omega, tactical fleet, spread, then hy the poor sucker. or repeat the process except escort some sucker and when a BoP decloaks, alpha, omega, tactical fleet, spread, hy but with rapid reload transphasics and breen cluster torp. because I don't need wep power, I run around with max shield power and near max aux power, so it makes me a kinda tough nut to crack. Many a time ive seen someone kill themselves killing said player. That being said, I rarely die shooting Kax.
Controlled burst damage and sufficient self healing negates feedback pulse entirely.

By definition, somebody has to lose in PVP. That does not mean you scream 'cheese' when it happens to you, that means you re-evaluate how to counter said 'cheese'.
That is counter-able, but as you seem to only learn such things when people tell you them outright, and due to your attitude and usage of such information, I'm no longer in a sharing mood.

The black cloud is 100 percent counterable by a romulan with a single charge of singularity power (sing jump always jumps you completely out of it)

wait, integration circuit is that romulan lockbox device right? man my engineer/escort just shrugs that off. i dont understand why people have so much trouble with it.
i'm convinced that the real issue with these builds is not that "oh they're unbeatable" its that they're unbeatable, with a TACTICAL. i've heard from several of these people that they dont even have an engineer/science.
as an engineer primarily (3 engies, 2 tacticals, 1 science) i find that the best counter characters is my engineer or science. built right i can counter 99% of the builds in this game. just means all those tactical characters out there need to figure out some team work for once and tag team with a debuff ship to circumvent well thought out builds.
a good PVP game should be a tactics war. more thought put into something the more powerful it is. that's true of most combat, its only logical STO is the same.

I hope you're not all talk. I'm a just bring it type person. You act like FBP is all I use. My ship also has something called weapons. I use those. I guess you forgot to factor that in. I use no cheese. In pvp it counts as a loss if I revive with a console. I'm sure you didn't know that. Looks like you need the forums more than I do...

Youre used to killing scrub baddies in Kerrat whereas many of us are used to fighting full on premade teams loaded with some serious business tactics. Two different worlds really.
But I am pretty confident I could stomp you on about five of my characters, no bug required.
And another thing, I dont need cheese either. I am rather well known among my circle of friends as the cleanest player of us all. They had to twist my arm to get me to put together a five sci cheeseball and even then I felt dirty.
I dont think I am good either, I know I am. Been called out more times than I can count for my snark, and have never lost an epeen 1v1 challenge after someone got rolled in an arena.

did you just say..... you've been battling in kerrat for the past 3 years? ...... waaaaay back in the early days of kerrat, you know before F2P, i started farming kerrat as a daily pass time, and did so as a daily even up until season 7 when i started doing more PVE with my fleet to get them up to par.....
during that time i never heard of you. there's only two people that have been able to consistently beat me. a bugship, and the universe' best BOP. (wont use names as i dont know if that's allowed... dun think it is.) back in the day i used to fly around in kerrat without shields as a dare to other ships to engage me, and i rarely lost. i can remember in detail each fight i lost in. i'd remember you if you were one of the good ones. sorry, your not.
only thing that's destroyed PVP is bugships. plain. and. simple. nothing about that ship makes sense to be as good as it is. if you're gonna whine about PVP start there.
Also, as far as goes, I Don't take pleasure in the aggravation of others in general, just the ones that are getting aggravated about playing the game in general in the way that the area is designed.. Some examples:
"Stop killing me! I'm just trying to finish the mission!"
Or
"lol you can only kill me when your in a group." and possibly "lol you can only kill me when I'm being attacked by borg."
Those types of statements show that the person involved did not seem to realize they were in an Open PVP zone, or are already trying to troll and deserve to be trolled back.

Continuing in the spirit of the thread, there have been times I fired a gravimetric torp spread at a running cloaker, who cloaks and then gets knocked right out again.
There has also been once or twice when I discovered an FBP/RSP user. All energy, so what could I do? Answer: Tractor and then drop a bunch of Voth spatial charges on him XD. Those things absolutely blow stuff apart if you can get them to hit. And some FBP users are a little overconfident, so they don't care about the tractor.....
Come to think of it, there was the time I used those on a sphere, followed by a singularity explosion popping into existence from the AOE damage
I use Cmdr and Lt Cmdr sci boffs with stuff like CPB, GW, SS3, VM, and my favorite SS3. I normally have SS doff, VM doffs and GW doff. most tac and eng consoles are universals, AMS, SIC, AA, and others.
Weapons can just be stuff that slow or otherwise proc them, I use mostly chronitons, web mines, tractor mines, plasma, harghpeng.
Just fly about and watch teams of3 or 4 alpha strikers take run after run on me often at the same time while i just fly about making greased up deaf guy jokes.

You know why people create videos of me losing combat? I'm the best player in the Universe. They have to show that they can hang with me-- Even tho they never show me stomping them. There's a reason. See, they need something to boost morale. So they create videos like that. That doesn't bother me at all. Reminds of a Romulan who lost 18 times to me, then posted that one win he got over me. Typical.

Its my kdf aligned Reman, subnuking with glee to ruin alpha or sudden buff up return for someone else alpha, dropping an high aux/part gen GW. Meanwhile I leave them a little gift or two in the form of cluster torp, destabilized torp, torp spread and trans mine spread. Get out fast with epte, apo and evasive if needed. Watch the fireworks :P
