Scheduled Maintenance (January 15, 2014) [Complete!]

Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tonight, Wednesday, January 15th, at 10PM PST (click here to view in your timezone) for our weekly scheduled maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to last for 2 hours. The test server, launcher and access to manage your account may also be unavailable during some portions of the maintenance.

NOTE: This maintenance is for our "weekly scheduled maintenance" that normally occurs on Thursday mornings (PST).

    Just double-checking... you do seriously mean 10PM PST, right?

    Thursday, January 15th. Last I checked, Thursday is the 16th. And 10PM PST seems rather late, when you usally do maintenance in the early morning.

    Are you sure it's the 15th? because it's the 15th right now, and 0600 GMT was about 18 hours ago..

    "Bran done fecked up" methinks. More coffee, for sir? :)

    It is the 15th - that is, tonight, 10pm Pacific time. (As I type this, it's 2:07pm Pacific.) The "Thursday" thing was probably a touch of intracranial flatulence, as usually the restart/patch is on Thursday morning.

    It's scheduled for the same time as the CO restart, due to no coincidence at all.

    Fixed: Wednesday, January 15th, at 10PM PST

    So, yes, tonight in about 7 hours and 38 minutes.

    If it's going down at 10PM PST, there will be places on Earth where it will be Thursday, and places where it'll be the 15th. These will not be the same places. :P

    It's not coming tomorrow -- that's on the 30th with the Anniversary Event and Season 8.5 launch :)

    Lets hope the dyson armor helmet glow effects are fixed in this patch :)

    It's not, but the team is investigating -- checked in with them today on that reported issue.

    How will this affect the Winter Event? Previous notes said it would be taken down after the regular weekly maintenance on Thursday, January 16. Is it ending early?

    Was actually going to ask the same question. As it was I had a small chance of getting one more eppoh raising in before maintenance but not any more :(

    Previous notes mentioned it ends tomorrow at 10AM PST -- it still does as ending or starting it is not tied to a maintenance :) Most of the event was in months ago, just turned off.

    Oh I don't know about that one. I always get my work organised to not be around at Maintenance times and go get work done. Still getting it done while I'm still asleep = total win.

    What the heck is up with FAW and the costume bug? If and when you guys fix that, you all deserve a hefty raise.

    Maintenance at 10pm PST? PERFECT! I always hate that it's down in the afternoon here in Europe. Can't you guys do it like this more often? Cheers! :D

    I hate to be "that guy", but umm... how long does it take to fix Fire-At-Will!? It's one skill... an IMPORTANT one. Why can't we get this fixed... are we going to have to wait until the 30th?

    Wow I give up I asked Branflakes 2 weeks ago in his Live stream for a comment on the 11 pages of bugs reported in the 2 weeks over X-mas with no Patches I was told by him that Cryptic is working on Bugs as priority and not ignoring them

    This is the second Patch after his comment and they are resolving 2 out of at least 100 reported Bugs Nice work guys at this rate the current bugs will take a Year to Fix. not counting the 3 new bugs for everyone you Fix
