Risa - The Star Trek Social Media

Risa is a Star Trek Social Media website designed and built by Star Trek fans. It allows fans to communicate in a social media platform to express their feelings and share their stories. The idea behind this website was to create one social platform where all fans can come together, to share in their stories and meet new people. You might know us as The Data Network.

Risa utilizes the best features of Facebook and Twitter and combining them together, with some more features specific to the network. We are constantly working on the network to make it better, and we are supported by donations from its users, and advertisement. We are hoping with more users joining the network, we will be able to set the network up as a Not-for-profit company.

    My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

    EPIC faiL.

    I tried to view photos and I got this window saying I needed to give it my name and password to continue. I'm not an admin, so I didn't have the necessary credentials. I had to force close my browser and restart my internet.

    Also, I'm a bit wary of making a clone of Facebook. I'm sure there are plenty of them out there. But Star Trek is its own thing. It shouldn't have to depend on a knockoff of something else.

    Has potential, but needs work.

    Well, thank you guys for all of your support! :D We are still working on the network, and we are releasing a new update with much more details with regards to the look and feel of the site. :) I am glad to see that you guys are embracing the site, and if you can spread the word, that would be great.

    Here's a pic.
    My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

    I would be more interested if you address was something recognizable like risa.com or something.

    Ive been burned to many times by scams/virus that use similiar addys to even want to click on it.

    So you should look into getting an actual domain.

    Not to be the bearer of bad news, nut uh...

    Well, the FaceBook option doesn't work.

    And there appears to be a coding error effecting the home screen display. It also appears upon login in the left column.

    Under faction options (edit profile menu), you have "Vulcan" listed when I think you meant Romulan. They are NOT the same species, and Federation is already listed.

    I did Facebook the first time, so it should be visceratrocartheoneandonly. I was also wondering if there could be an option to hide that (where it says "@visceratrocartheoneandonly")? I mean, my login and screen name aren't the same, so why put them both?

    Just adding my 2 cents worth.

    Join guys this is a fun community, been with them a little while and am enjoying a different atmosphere than here. It's Star Trek fans that play STO with some good ideas and general fun stuff.

    When I go to the link on my phone all I get is a domain placeholder with related searches. The mobile app does the same.
