were you shooting him or not? how would you know if he disappeared from his own team? i have yet to see that clarified, its not exactly easy to follow what your saying with your frantic posting thats short on useful details. what your describing, if its not any placate, could be loging, the lamest tactic of all.

Ive been up against similiar feds that have tanked and killed myself and my fellow klingons in Kerrat with apparent ease yet no thread with hints of "something fishy" came out of it. I recognize it when someone has played well versus an obviuos show of something being fishy.
Perhaps he got scrambled, followed by a proc on the Isis doff while he was using FaW? Considering that thing reduces perception, it might have the effect described...
Anyways, the game is pretty much always kinda buggy - so it is theoretically possible that it was the t5 Romulan active, with some weird interaction with Kerrat-same-side players. Ya know, players on your side but not on your team. The long cooldown makes me suspect that is the case.

The Romulan T5 power's animation has the ship fading to black before being replaced by the wireframe of cloakedness, and then back again. It is possible that this could be perceived as "disappearing to his own team".
Bottom line: I see nothing suspicious or inexplicable in the story as described. It all seems pretty standard.
... sometimes i run into groups of three or four feds in kerrat while i'm flying my negvar 'n i'm able to tank them all 'n pick them off using just pressure damage. so, a romulan in a mogh doesnt seem all that far fetched to me.
There are guys flying mobius out there that can one shot your gal x ships one after another without scratching the paint. just saying.

When there's lots of spam going on, the T5 rom cloak looks like it cloaks you for your own team. It's just lag while the animation catches up. I see it all the time in the arena.
I was there in my avenger. After he killed me a few times by holding me in tractor beam, I wised up. There was eventually a 3v3 fight where we killed all 3 of them, most of our heavy lifting being done by Hilbert.
This is good enough for me, with the amount of cheese spam fps and lag was not good so it could be that, just that none of us had seen it before.
Sounds like the same thing that causes warp plasma to bug out only at times of high load. I'm sure its an gfx culling system that kicks in when a threshold is hit... most likely who ever programmed it at cryptic didn't note how it worked and left long ago. lol (like the warp plasma issue people with super fast connections in combo with high powered gfx cards tend to not noticed these issues... could be a culling on the latency of the connection and or the gfx systems)
I won't guess to much easiest way to find out woudl have been to simply ask the person in question... most people like talking about themselves. lol Well if I was going to guess... ya culling issues in combo with someone douchy enough to run placate shield along with romulan placate and 3-6 points in CounterM for good measure never hurts.

His build is really bad, you say you didn't beat him, I wouldnt look at his magnificent build at this point... End of story.
There have been quite a few here calling this build bad. Frankly I disagree. Just because it's odd in some ways? I've seen it perform and it did one heck of a job. How could he do that with a supposedly **** build??? So assuming the guy is not cheating (e.g. introduction of artificial lags) he built an awesome ship. You can clearly notice how it is built around dual aux2bat, with the core adding aux and a percentage to shields. It's also very clearly set up for speed tanking and high turn. He might also have Rep powers that enhance shields (e.g. the Rom T4 for which I believe that he might have gone for the shield heal instead of the placate). Plus the Borg 2 set for heals. Apart from the weird FAW in there it seems good to me. I refuse to call that build bad. I've seen what it can do. Else I'd have to call that person a cheater. So if you believe the build to be bad please be more specific how it is bad. In that case it would also be interesting to hear your opinion on how he was able to manage to stay alive under such pressure.

I was in Ker'rat last night for a bit. I saw a Klingon Bulwark with a couple of smaller ships above the Fed spawnpoint. One might have been a Mogh. The Bulwark appeared to be supporting the smaller ships. There was teamwork at play.
