Hive onslaught normal has been broken for way to long and here is a list of whats wrong.
the unimatrixes fire lances on players while under the guns is in effect they should not fire when the player is too close to the ship on outer part of the unimatrixes
ships and probes move into the spawn area and heal the unimatrix outside the ten K range
also the cubes and spheres move back to their start point after some time has passed
lances are firing to often and the under the huns range is too small
to fix the under the guns effect i propose the range increase to 15K at that range your are closing in on the ship when you get within firing distance the lance is immediately disabled and the plasma bolt is the viable weapon choice
please fix this or take it down its very annoying and please listen to your loyal fans
The issue with the lances is that if they start charging before you get into the radius, it will still hurt you. You must be within the radius before it charges to escape it. See if that helps.
While its true that the lances begin targeting and firing at 20k, its actually not the worst problem. Completion is still possible even if you lose 1 or 2 players to them. I think the biggest problem is the spawn rate of the probes and spheres. If you are unable to take out 1 unimatrix before they take out the whole team, then they lock into an unbeatable pattern of lancing, plasma bolts, torp spread, and probe/sphere spawn. The fix for normal difficulty would be to lower the spawn rate.
