    I noticed the last patch (and probably the one going on while I write this) didn't come with any patch notes. This is very annoying as I really want to know about any new content, mission changes, etc so that I don't get surprised.

    This is just server maintenance no patch intended, it is posted in forums if you just look !!

    Didn't see this until today, so

    Happy New Year +1.

    Also for 2014 can you do a free ship and fighter event again, as well as the crystline entity or what ever you now call it event again.

    I also suggest adding in the Borg, Voth, and Iconians as a playable race since you will have so much content to work with you might as well allow players to benefit from your work.

    Another suggestion is that you raise the normal dilithium per day limit for everyone from 8,000 to at least 15,000, that way its easier to get dilithium, but also gets you income for the game still because its still limited.

    (I will list the rest of the suggestions in a list below instead of repeating words.)


    List of Other Suggestions:


    1. Allow people to buy consoles and equipment [That can be used on other ships] from ships in the ZEN store.

    2.
    A. Add the ability for foundry users to use XY rotation of items with backs such as doors (for example take something vertical and make or horizontal and vise versa.).

    B. Add in the ability for foundry users to add custom timers that can fail or complete an objective, such as hold an area or defuse a bomb.

    C. Add in Explosive Devices for foundry users such as and at least these types: bombs also add in Plantable Bombs that will stick to a wall, Pipe Bombs (Bombs made out of a pipe.), Dirty Bombs (Anthrax, Homemade Nuclear Bombs (Always above 5 Megatons and usually never above 500,000 or 750,000 Megatons), Nerve Gas Bombs and other Toxin, Nerve Gas, and Chemical Bombs.), Tactical Nuclear Weapons (Handheld, timer set before planting to a surface or thrown, and armed by hand.), and More Explosion, Fire, Sparks, and Etc. Effects.

    D. Make the foundry not lag when your trying to create a large mission and lag more and more until you can't use foundry at all to create that mission.

    E. Remove Foundry Map Limits by adding in an option to create a No Limits Mission or switch an already created mission to a no limits mission, so you can create larger missions, and add the option to create a No Limits Mission to the map creation options where you choose the Faction, and add the option to change an already created mission to a No Limits Mission in the mission's info page.



    3. Finally Add more missions for all story lines at least 30 for an Iconian storyline and at least 30 for a Voth storyline.




    Additional Suggestions:

    1. Add the ability for foundry users to make the player control a different ship such as in the mission "Temporal Ambassador".

    2. Add the ability for foundry users to import custom models into the game to use as ships in their missions such as .gmax, .3ds, .max, and .obj files.

    Sorry dude, you can dream about it but it probably won't happen.
    I would love to visit this star in-game...or maybe this one!

    Anyways, i cant believe there are still people asking for new content instead of working on fixing bugs (the most important thing in STO). It is just amazing.. i am 100% sure that you have a lifetime subs and u spent huge ammounts of money in the game. With people like you, im sorry to say this, but this game is dead, unfortunately.

    We all want new content but that is not a priority right now, in fact we should not have new content in a few months , not until all the bugs (or almost most of em) are fixed. I am willing to wait even a year wihtout new content if cryptic tell me they are going to fix most of the bugs. But at this point, i think thats impossible.. (for cryptic anyways).

    #1 - No More LAG! I missed out on "Sphere of Influence" until the last week due to 'lag freeze' trapping my chars at whatever location they were when S8 launched. I was one of at least a handful of players for whom STO was 99-100% unplayable. Although improved the problem has persisted and greatly hurt my experiences with the 2013 Winter Event.

    #2 - FREE Galor variant, no Lock Boxes or Lobi required. Mission Reward or something reasonable. $100+ for ONE ship is Obscene.

    #3 - Wrath of Khan Uniform promo or giveaway. I've played since beta but missed out on all 3 promos for this uniform (at least the 3 i'd heard of...).

    #4 - This:
    Heh, you know what I'd love to see? I'd love to see a toggle in the options that says "Do not allow my character to be affected by those stupid dancing party balls."

    That's what I'd love to see for 2014.

    T6 Nova/Rhode Island, T6 Oberth & T6 Constellation are needed. Also needed a T6 Science Cruiser, that can wear any Science or Cruiser skin.

    1) There can never be a 100% bug free mmo. It's impossible. And no, not even "almost most of them" can be achieved. Every MMO has bugs. It's not something companies like to have, but you cannot actually predict what your code will do in a large scale environment. Some bugs are tiny to us but in reality are extremely complex back end lines that may take weeks or months to get through.

    2) I may be a lifetimer (have been for a long long time) but that has no bearing on needing new content. That's called business. If they stopped for even a few months and just did bug fixes A LOT of people would leave, or not even join the game. We learned this when the atari sale was happening and NOTHING was really done on the game. People left by the boat load. Thus is the nature of online gaming and since it's F2P they need the income of people spending time in game purchasing things. Bug fixes should be a priority if they are game breakers (actual game breakers not what people consider game breakers), but the small ones that are yes annoying but can be worked around should take a back seat till they can get to it.

    Thus is the nature of gaming online.
